Great hotel, great restaurant

A beautiful Gründerzeit hotel, with great rooms.
Staff at the reception were so friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant was sensational. All tasty delicacies . We're going to visit the restaurant like that. Always happy.

Not worth 4 stars

Hotel classified as 4 stars, unfortunately our sensations were more 2 or 3 stars.
When checking in, prefer not to ask questions, owner unfriendly.
There was supposed to be a minibar present, but was just an empty refrigerator.
From 10 pm everything is closed, no more drinks to order and no staff in the whole house.
The drinks machine was also out of order.
Sunday we had to leave early, but could not travel until 8 am, because the owner still not there what we had to pay for 2 drinks.
There was also no coffee at 7:30 in the hotel.
It was also not as pure as we are used to from 4 star hotels in Germany.

Disappointed, no 4 stars justified

Rooms very small and equipped with outdated furniture. On the balcony there are 2 folding chairs and a table made of wood, hardly any more paint on it without pillows or similar. With the room rate and the 4 stars I expected something different and was really shocked at first. Minibar available but empty. Alternative a vending machine in the hallway "out of order". Restaurant was closed as no chef available. We are often in the hotel and in my personal experience a maximum of 1 star would be justified. Breakfast was ok ,but nothing special either. Unfortunately I was deceived by the positive reviews. None of this we found on site.
