Comfortable Stay

Staff were nice and helpful, I got dropped in the middle of the car park and it was past midnight and got confused where the hostel was located and the lady stayed on the phone with me until I found it. The rooms are very simple but that’s expected for the price. Clean rooms and the bathrooms were clean too just old. Nice shower heads! Breakfast is cash only! Great location

Perfect location

Clean and tidy. Located in the middle of the heart of the Old Town. Low price and a great satisfaction. Kind and helpful staff. Plenty of interesting places worth to be seen around. Not a long distance from the airport.

DISGUSTING

Absolutely terrible hostel. Words can’t describe how filthy the rooms where . The showers are horrible and worst of all is the most rudest woman on reception . Never in my life have I been spoken too so rudely . Also she charged us city tax even tho it had been paid in the booking. Please don’t let this review put you off Gdańsk . Gdańsk is a beautiful place and there are plenty of decent hostels . 100% give this one a miss

No, No & No!!!

It was terrible! Dirty. There was someone's used napkin in the room, the walls were
blotted. It was very noisy and impossible to sleep. And recepcion is the worst! Girl just said that I do not have any booking and no vacant rooms. I had to argue for a few minutes and prove that the reservation was already paid and that she could not ban letting me in with this. There was booked room with one double bed, but in my room was separate beds.
So... You can get night here, but only if you are poor drunk student.

“You can’t polish a turd”

After seeing this place it seemed reasonable to book we have stayed in hostels before with own bathrooms within the room.
We stayed in 201 which we later found out was the only on suit room. It’s at the top of the stair well so very noisy. Numerous of school children running around during our stay and when alerted reception they stated there was nothing they could do.
If your needing sleep this is not the place amongst the noise there is also no curtains in any of the rooms only a thin net which offers no darkness.
Half way through our stay we flushed the toilet and noticed sewage coming back up through the shower plug. After going to reception they replied this was not a surprise to them. We asked for our money back as they couldn’t offer us a room with a private bathroom. She stated they were unable to refund and could only swap our room.
The place where the hostel is situated is great and you can access the old town quickly, it’s close to the new shopping centre and bus stop. However we would not return!
