Good for solo travels

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Logos! The breakfast was great – lots of choice with hot and cold dishes plus cereals. The location couldn’t be better, close to the center but still nice and quiet. My room had plenty of storage space and was comfortable.
The staff were absolutely amazing – very friendly and helpful. They even gave me a water boiler when I asked (not usually included in single rooms), which I really appreciated. Overall, it was good, but there are a few small things that could be improved. It would be nice to have an extra bin in the room (not just in the bathroom), and maybe an extra shelf under the mirror in the bathroom for toiletries. The biggest issue for me was the internet – it was really weak in the room and difficult to use.

Seedy. Sheets have holes.

Sheets have holes and don't fit bed. Front desk can do nothing about sheets, but will let housekeeping know tomorrow. Meanwhile, nowhere to sleep as mattress is filthy. No elevator. Asked desk about area restaurants and was told they 'don't know'. Curtains don't cover whole window and room faces street. Restaurant in hotel listed as open but is closed.

Basic but fine

I didn't have any problems when I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2019.
My room window faced the railway line but they certainly were not loud enough to wake the dead. I slept through them.
Breakfast was good - I could have as much as I wanted.
Parking was opposite the hotel so no problem.
The weather was awful during my stay, so even in May it was cold, wet, rainy and windy, which of course is not the fault of the hotel or staff.
The staff were friendly and spoke English.
I know it is a 2-star hotel but what do you expect? Comfortable bed, small shower, decent breakfast. No complaints.

Great Hotel in Gdansk

The staff were really nice. It is an old style hotel. Room had a comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk and comfortable chairs. The internet signal was strong and the TV worked. I was staying there for seven days. The breakfast was self-serve and was very good. They also do lunch, a 3-course meal at a reasonable price. I heard the train pass - they did not seem to be frequent or particular noisy. When I go back to Gdansk, I hope to stay there. There is a tennis club opposite the hotel and they have a restaurant for evening meals. There are lots of parks in area and store not far away to purchase food, etc.

A wonderful medieval town

This hotel could really better be described as a hostel. The rooms are small and basic with thin walls, suggesting subdivision of a previous layout. However the main disadvantage is the location, which is within 100 yards of a main railway line running more or less at first floor level. Long heavy trains run through the night! The staff were pleasant and the breakfast OK but everything is overshadowed by the trains. The price is comparable to that in several much better hotels that we stayed in during our visit to the exciting and vibrant country that is modern Poland. Do visit Gdansk but stay somewhere else.
