Great hostel.

The owner Reed has great knowledge of the area . Very friendly guy. He also cooks awesome food. The chillout bar upstairs is nice. Lots of hammocks to relax. It’s chilled and really quiet but close to the city.signing the wall is a must.highly recommend

Very rude hostel host

Many chickens in the garden making noice. So you know we love animals. But this was not chill. We were the only ones in the hostel. We didn’t had a good feeling, so we said that to the hostel host in kindness. His reaction was weird. Said it was our fault that it was empty bc of the raining season.
Went to an another hostel, there were others.
Our friend stayed in La Vida that night. The hostel host almost immediately told her about us. She didn’t said she knew us.
He said ‘‘there were some entitled girls before’ ‘they didn’t knew the real things with there new backpacks’’
Felt so weird to hear that, bc we were standing in our right to leave the hostel and he is talking about us after!!
Not really professional.
