Lovely hosts!!

Such lovely hosts, Babu made us feel so welcome and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She even gave us a lift to the bus stop herself and made sure we got on the right bus to our next destination. Thank you so much!

Cozy place with amazing host

The hostel is a really cozy place close to the best beach in Moalboal. You can lend snorkels here and look for turtles at the shore. Babu is so nice and makes you feel at home.
We ended up staying here for a whole week during a typhoon and Babu took care of us the whole time.
Really recommend this place!

Great Place

You won't find a nicer, more hospitaple host in all Moalboal. Babu really cares about her guest.
It's not perfect, but she will go out of her way to please you.
And by the way, she went to architectural school, designed and built this hostel with her own hands!

The hostel is a really cozy place close to the best beach in Moalboal. You can lend snorkels here and look for turtles at the shore. Babu is so nice and makes you feel at home. Really recommend this place!

Made to feel uncomfortable

My boyfriend and I initially liked this hostel, rooms and bathrooms were very basic but comfortable and felt clean enough.
However we rented a scooter from the owner which seemed to be faulty so after the first day we explained what was wrong and asked to exchange it for a different one (we still wanted to rent a scooter but not the faulty one), this was met with a slightly hostile response which then seemed to remain for the rest of our stay. We also had some laundry done through the hostel which came back stained with bleach (I very much hope this had nothing to do with the bike!!). Then to top it all off we were asked to pay extra for the first bike because it apparently didn’t have enough petrol in when we brought it back despite having been given to us with no petrol in whatsoever! Such a shame because this hostel had potential to be nice but we ended up leaving feeling quite uncomfortable.
