Outstanding Stay at Dusit Thani Davao
We had a wonderful stay at Dusit Thani Davao. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, but what really made our stay special was the exceptional customer service from the entire staff.
A special thank you to the Dusit Lounge team on the 6th floor. We were traveling with our five-year-old non-verbal autistic son, and the lounge team was incredibly supportive, patient, and accommodating. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay, and their kindness and understanding meant a great deal to our family. We truly appreciated how they went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.
The entire lounge staff provided excellent service during breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional, and they consistently made sure we had everything we needed.
The front desk staff were also outstanding—welcoming, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. We also appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the pool lifeguard, who was friendly and made our time at the pool even more enjoyable.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our only recommendation would be to make sure there are enough towels provided in the room based on the number of guests, as we did have to request additional towels.
Overall, we had an excellent experience at Dusit Thani Davao and would definitely stay here again. The beautiful property is one thing, but it is the people and their genuine hospitality that truly make this hotel special.

Feedback on my stay in dusit thani davao
I would like to share a few observations that I hope can help improve the guest experience:
1. Guest Room TV – Upon checking in, I had to call and request a replacement because the television was not functioning properly. It would be appreciated if room equipment could be thoroughly checked before guest arrival.
2. All Day Dining – The service provided by the team was good and the staff were courteous. However, there is room for improvement in product knowledge. For example, when I asked for sugar syrup, the staff were unfamiliar with it. In addition, I availed of the all-you-can-eat offering, but unfortunately, most of the advertised appetizers were unavailable, which was disappointing.
3. Concierge Service – My wife requested the concierge to deliver a box of fruits to our room, but we had to follow up as it was not delivered as expected. Timely coordination and follow-through would enhance the guest experience.
4. Guest Privacy – We received a phone call in our room from someone looking for a different guest. This raised concerns about room verification procedures. It would be reassuring if guest information and occupied room lists were verified carefully before calls are transferred to guest rooms.

I had a pleasant stay at Dusit Thani Davao. The suites are spacious, elegant, and well-maintained, making them perfect for both business and leisure stays. The staff were courteous, and the overall ambiance was relaxing and luxurious.
The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast buffet. While the food was decent, I was hoping for a wider variety of dishes and more consistent quality to match the high standard of the accommodations.
Overall, it’s still a great place to stay!🙂

I recently spent an overnight stay at the Dusit Thani Residences with my fiancee to celebrate my birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. This was a serious letdown for a hotel carrying the Dusit name.
The room is beautiful. Big, clean, well finished. That is the only good thing I can say.
Then you look out the window. Lying right there, in plain view, are two lifeless pigeons. Good thing the windows do not open or the smell would have made the room unbearable. And the actual view behind it is a gas station with massive fuel tanks and tanker trucks. That is what we paid for.
There was no face towel and no hand towel. Only a single regular towel. This is supposed to be a five star hotel. Even smaller, far cheaper hotels provide a complete towel set as standard. There is no excuse for this at Dusit.
Check-in took almost 30 minutes. Only two people were working the front desk for a line of more than ten guests, about five minutes each. At the same time there were many bellboys and greeters standing around with nothing to do. The two receptionists looked exhausted and clearly unhappy. They are carrying the entire front of house alone, and it shows.
For a property at this price, under this brand, none of this is acceptable. Dusit management needs to see this, take it seriously and not just a PR reply.
