Our Stay at Kandaya Resort

Kandaya Resort is very active in social media and that is how I learned about them. We booked a 3-night stay from February 14-17 and found the place relaxing with an unobstructed view of the sea. The hotel rates are reasonable, the staff very helpful, and the food at their Kusina Restaurant delicious. The resort is over 3 hours away from the Mactan airport, and we availed of their round trip van transfers for convenience. And you want to go to Bantayan Island, which I did, the travel time is about 1 hour to the Hagnaya port and another 1-1/2 hours by boat. Kandaya Resort is the only premier resort in northern Cebu, and the gateway to Malapascua Island, a haven for divers.

Absolutely fantastic !

We were supposed to stay 2 nights before heading to Malapascua however because of bad weather we ended up having to stay another night . Nothing is any trouble for the team here . Everyone is so helpful . The resort is beautiful and every single member of staff we interacted with were absolutely fantastic ! I would 100% come back . Thank you for everything and all of your help with getting us an extra night when needed. You are all a credit to your profession. We will be back!

Kandaya resort is definitely very beautiful and clean. It offers many activities from ARV, horseback rides, archery, island hopping and many more. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of, especially Philippine cuisine. The kayaking was our personal favorite. It’s just a long drive away from Cebu city. However, should we find ourselves that side of the world again, we will choose this resort anytime. Lastly, the room was so stylish and modern..it was just amazing. Bed is super comfortable.

Nice resort - food not too good

The rooms were lovely, the facilities were very good, but the food was overpriced and to be honest not very good. The kids like the kayaks and the jet ski

Nice resort, professional friendly staff

Beach Pool Villa was very nice. Resort wasn't crowded. Friendly professional staff. Plenty to do for the weekend stay. Restaurant was fine, good variety of choices. Taste was fine for what i orderedI Breakfast buffet was ok as well.
Couldn't swim in the ocean because of jellyfish, that was ok as we had our own pool to play in!
We will visit again at Christmas time
