Privacy Concerns with Housekeeping SOP

My GF and I stayed here last February. We are a lesbian couple. Barely 12 hours in our stay, after breakfast, we caught a male employee stepping out of our room without us requesting housekeeping or hanging a door sign for that. I was shocked and I did try to raise this concern to other employees and they said it’s just their SOP to be freely barging in rooms like that. I’ve been to many hotels in PH and abroad and I’ve never experienced anything like that.
Staff weren’t particularly rude but the ones in dining somehow make a lot of nuisance noise and gestures during their downtime. That kind of behavior cheapens the image of a hotel.

The breakfast was good. Air conditioning didn’t work great - someone came and fixed it, but still wasn’t cold! Staff were friendly. The day we left I woke up with tons of bites on my arms, legs and stomach. I honestly think I got bed bugs here.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the rooftop pool was stunning. However, the algae on the roof could use some bleaching. You can see critters crawling in the bathroom, and the air duct is dirty.
