Never again, quite far from IT park! And other issues.
Ok, this review is not an easy one. Let me start with the positive, the room was quite big and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had many choices and very tasty.
That's I guess all the positive.
Why I will not at all return to this hotel? I paid extra for a room with balcony, but the balcony at this hotel is not inviting at all, it's totally different from a balcony im used to have. Actually the place was build, I guess, for appartement, so the balcony is rather a place to put the washing machine, but it's quite enclosed. So if you want to sit there it's very hot. See photo. Than I also found the shower not really hot, just luke warm Than the swimming pool...., its ok but only 2 sun beds. Than the location, I read it's close to the nightlife and IT-park. But IT IS quite far away! More than half an hour walk. See photo. The nearest 7/11 is about 15 min walk. And night life, there is just 1 nightclub, 15 min walk as well. Most of the nightlife is by taxi. And many many street dogs around....
And you know, I wanted just to give only 1 star, during check out, they wanted to charge me 2000 peso penalty because I smoked on the balcony, I left a bottle with buds on the table. There were clear signs not to smoke in the room, and ofcourse I never smoke in the room, that's why I always take a balcony room. Why did the cleaners did not inform me after the first day they cleaned the room? Because I left tips everyday on the bed? But when checking out the cleaners told reception about that bottle with cigarette buds. So crazy! Ok, at the end I did not need to pay, but they tried anyway to get my 2000! Knowing I had deposited 1000.... this really did not give ne a good feeling! Anyway, never again!!

Great hotel especially for the price. I reserved a balcony suite. Room was extremely spacious. King size bed was the common two beds pushed together but it works. Nice large clean bathroom. Decent water pressure... Could have been a little hotter of water. The only few things that bothered me during the stay 1. Internet and TV never worked my entire stay. Even after calling about it each day. 2. Room wasn't fully finished being cleaned when I checked in. Still had a dirty drinking glass and a half filled carafe of water someone had been drinking. 3. In each elevator there are signs for a happy hour from 1pm to 5pm at the rooftop lounge/bar. But when I arrived at 2pm... I was told they don't open until 4pm and never have opened before 4pm. I Showed them the poster for their own bar and in true Philippines fashion they just looked at me and said, open at 4 Sir. So I came back later for their truly 1 hour 4pm to 5pm, happy 1 hour. 😂😊 Things go a little slower here in the Philippines, just gotta slow down, breathe and enjoy the journey not just the destruction.

It was our first time in Cebu, Phillipines, and we had a great time at Diane's hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and they had variety of options. The customer service was great and they assisted when we required something. They had complimentary disposal toothbrush and toothpaste with disposable slippers. They also provided bottled water daily upon room service. The pool was great and clean, we had no concerns. We would definitely be back again.

Staff was the very best. Everyone working there deserves a raise and a promotion. The only problem was the bathroom was moldy snd lime scum everywhere
