Nice villa and beautiful view but comfort and service to review
Nice villa with a very nice view.
We stayed 11 nights , a bit long at the end but we could still rest!
The villa is not new and deserves a refreshment: damaged sink , mold in the bathroom ..
Areas for improvement: service and comfort!
- it is essential to have a real deckchair to lie by the pool and not old armchairs
-loud on weekends because of downtown music
-noisy neighbors and the reception did nothing to tell them to stop the music .. at 11 pm I had to go ask them to turn down the sound.
-large bugs in the house .. an insecticide available would be nice
-if we have a problem in the evening no one answers after 8:30 pm.. having the security number would be a plus
-pdj limited and unclear , we had to pay extras at the start when we had not been explained anything!
-no service overall in the villas: no restaurant on site , no help if we want to book a restaurant , it is up to us to manage
-stained sheets and light cleaning.
Pros: massages!
In view of our dissatisfactions , the reception offered us the extras pdj and the airport ride , it is this reason why I put a 4/5 .

– Rafraîchissement de la villa (évier, salle de bain) : Vous avez raison, certains éléments méritent une remise à niveau. Nous avons prévu un plan de rénovation progressive et ces points sont déjà sur notre liste prioritaire.
– Transats au bord de la piscine : Remarque absolument juste — nous sommes en train de remplacer les assises existantes par de véritables transats. Merci de l'avoir signalé.
– Ménage et linge : Nous présentons nos excuses. Nous avons renforcé nos contrôles quotidiens de ménage et nos standards de blanchisserie. Ce point est notre priorité opérationnelle immédiate.
– Bruit le week-end : Le son provient de célébrations d'une petite communauté locale à environ 500 mètres du resort — un élément occasionnel et traditionnel de la vie sur l'île. Nous comprenons parfaitement que cela puisse déranger et nous conseillerons plus clairement à nos futurs clients les villas les plus abritées.
– Réception en soirée : Votre remarque est prise en compte. Nous mettons en place un numéro de sécurité / astreinte disponible 24h/24 pour tout besoin en dehors des horaires standards.
– Insectes : Nature tropicale oblige, mais vous avez raison — nous mettons désormais à disposition un kit anti-insectes dans chaque villa.
– Petit-déjeuner – transparence sur les extras : Merci de nous l'avoir signalé. Nous revoyons actuellement le menu pour inclure les boissons froides et nous allons clarifier noir sur blanc ce qui est inclus et ce qui est en supplément, afin qu'il n'y ait plus aucune ambiguïté.
– Recommandations de restaurants / services : Nous allons également mettre en place un petit guide local et une aide à la réservation pour nos clients qui souhaitent un accompagnement.

Be careful
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. My brother and I had over $2,300 stolen from our room.
The only time anyone else had access to our room was when it was being cleaned, which raises serious concerns. When we reported it, the staff did not take the situation seriously and offered no real help.
It’s extremely upsetting to feel unsafe in a place that’s supposed to be secure. I would not recommend staying here.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry your stay ended on this note and would like to respond publicly for the benefit of other readers.
When you informed us of the missing cash, our management came to your villa immediately, listened carefully, and offered to contact the local police so a formal report could be filed and a proper investigation opened. You and your brother declined this offer. We nevertheless contacted the police ourselves, who came on-site shortly after — but by that point you had already checked out and chose not to return or engage with them, which unfortunately made a formal investigation impossible.
On our side, we reviewed the CCTV footage covering the access points to your villa during your stay and found no sign of any unauthorized entry or suspicious movement. Every villa is also equipped with a personal in-room safe, which we clearly communicate at check-in and strongly encourage guests to use for cash, passports, and valuables. Our housekeeping team operates under strict access and supervision protocols, and our staff are long-standing, trusted members of our resort family with an unblemished record.
We understand how stressful it is to misplace or lose belongings while traveling, and we genuinely regret that you experienced this. Our offer to cooperate with the authorities — and to share our CCTV footage with them — remains open at any time.

Was open plan with a spectacular view, rooms were spacious.
The breakfast provide by the team were amazing provided with a fruit platter.
Communication was superb, were able to organise transport to and from general luna and cloud 9.

Picture Perfect
Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay here, booked the Villa with Private Pool.
Looks just like it does in the photos. Secluded location, the Villa has plenty of space including a full kitchen (if you feel like cooking), and the Villa is clean, modern and well organised. Loved the pool, we used it every day!
With the Villa been pretty self sufficient, it can be very tempting to stay there throughout your stay, but there is plenty to do on the island, and the friendly staff are more than willing to help you with bookings for tours or give you their recommendations.
Speaking of staff, call out to Louise and Kaitha. From organising food and drinks to our Villa, arranging tours across the island, and just being available to chat. Call out to Kuya Tan Tan for driving us around the island, and thanks to all the other staff who made our stay extra special. Breakfast was delicious!

We cannot stop raving about our stay at Mango Tree. We have soo many friends & family asking about Mango Tree— & all that they’re saying is that it’s so beautiful & dreamy! Having experienced it for ourselves, we can say this has been the highlight of our Philippines trip, and Siargao is an absolute dream! Staying at the Mango Tree Villa, we experienced a butler-esque type of service. The communication via WhatsApp is so personal, very smooth, & they made us feel like they are reachable any time of the day. We ordered breakfast every morning, they had their staff deliver the food & set the table with fresh mangoes, watermelon slices, pineapples and with a choice of coffee or juice. They have healthy options as well as your classic Filipino “silog” breakfast. The view of nature around this place is one that we’ll always keep in our memory bank. We are so happy with our stay, and encourage others to book here as well! They have 2 new villas opening! We are so grateful for the amazing experience, and we look forward to coming back soon! See u soon, Siargao!! <3
