Shower/Changing Room Maintenance

Place & location accessible. The architectural design of the resort is IG worthy. Friendly reception, but not in the girls staff in the restaurant. Food, average nothing special. Much better to bring your own food or eat somewhere else. Pricey food menu but nit worth it. compare to other resorts in Anda. I think there’s a service charge too. ₱300 entrance fee not consumable. To the management: please pay attention to your shower / changing rooms. Too limited. Day users need to que to get showered and changed, PLUS? Shower isn’t working properly, malakas naman ang water sa faucet, but the shower itself is defective already maybe. Not that clean too. The other changing room, tinatambayan ng boys staffs so awkward if you are a girls to take a shower there. Big lot hope you could add more shower rooms. Sayang ang place if hindi na maintained. I will nit recommend. My forst and last. I suppose to bring guests sana next week, but baka mapahiya lang ako. Sorry but no thanks. But in fair, maganda din naman ang resort.

Bad service and bad customer service!

First hand i would like to share with everyone my experience on my first day at this place.
Upon check in we were given a room me and my partner.
When i arrived at the room the balcony Windows wouldnt lock from the inside.
I read a paper left in our room stating the terms and conditions that stated that they wouldnt be held responsible should anything goes missing.
We called reception and advised them of the situation. They said that they would send someone to fix it.
Mind I had already started to unpack.
A while after a guy arrived only to inform me that it couldnt be fixed and that we had to change room.
I packed all my stuff and moved to another room.
Started again to unpack to be disturbed by the same guy who stated that we had to move again as the balcony door couldnt be closed.
I grabbed again all my stuff and moved to another room.
Later that same evening, 4 employees chatting inside the restaurant didnt Bother to come and serve us.
I had to Walk inside the restaurante as i was sitting outside and asked them if they could come and serve us.
then and only then came with the menus to serve us.
I have to say this was nothing compared to all the other places that we have been here in the Philippines.
The service in this places needs to improve big time.

Best locally I would imagine

A bit of a hidden gem in an area where this level of accommodation is sparse. A complete surprise given the general lack of “non local” tourism in this area.
Staff/Service
Five star efforts from all the staff we have encountered. Friendly, polite and accommodating in every way. English language skills are average as mainly local/national guests are the order of the day. That said, I don’t speak Visaya or Tagalog so no complaints on that from me.
Rooms/Facilities
We only stayed in a “standard” room as the deluxe rooms appeared to be fully booked and the family rooms were way too big (and expensive) to justify staying in them. The fact that “deluxe” rooms weren’t available was strange as there appeared to be very few guests at the hotel and there are many rooms in the main block.
The rooms were clean, free of bugs, fresh linen and enough pillows, towels, with basic toiletries and coffee making provisions, a fridge, loads of storage space, smart TV, plug sockets. All you really need. As a vaper, I was pleased to note that you can vape (or smoke) on your private balcony, which every room has. Elsewhere on the premises it is not allowed, as it should be under the law in PI.
Pool is varying depths, well kept, clean with a full time “lifeguard” who appears to pay particular attention to kids safety. Well done that man. Restaurant is fairly large, limited menu but nowhere near here touches it if you won’t eat local. There is nowhere else close, the local town of Anda has nothing of note. Breakfast was included.
For £40ish (3300 pesos) per night for two, with all aforementioned provisions, well worth the money.
A few minor gripes. Day visitors are allowed entry upon a fee payment. Not all are well behaved, especially the group of young men that were loud and mouthy. They didn’t stay long, I don’t know why. Large groups of kids and adults hiring the day Kubu’s can overwhelm the pool and sun loungers. Internet was poor and I relied on my phone mainly. Air con never seemed to cool the room as much as I would like. This place is isolated if you don’t have transport. Beaches are just over the boundary line. Private hotel beach clean but not for swimming on days when there are big waves. The public beach is strewn with glass, litter and the usual trash that infects beaches here in PI. Noisy beach parties boom out loud music and karaoke at weekends and some weekdays. Neither beach is big. The public one gets crowded at weekends.
Lastly, the main beach at Anda town is stunning. Pure white soft sand, clean toilets and great food! Getting there could be an issue if you don’t have your own transport!
