Cozy hotel and close to train station

Our experience was excellent! We were very well received.
The location is great, very close to the train station, which made our trip much easier. The center is also quite close to walk. They prepared a custom breakfast for us with measured eggs made on time. It was all very good.
The room was very cozy, with a large bed and very comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean and very well taken care of. The view was wonderful for the mountains.
We definitely recommend this hotel to those who want to see Machu Picchu and want a comfortable, welcoming stay with exceptional service.

Clean room and it was very spacious, the staff went above and beyond. The toilet was overflowing and staff came and sorted it asap and clean everything up.
Had to check out very early to go up to Machu Picchu, they left me a breakfast bag at he front desk to take with me.
Note: the front desk isn’t 24hrs but they will try and accommodate your needs. Great for leaving your luggage whilst hiking Machu Picchu.
Definitely recommend this place, as it’s near the train station, markets for souvenirs and food places.

The only reason we gave Mapi Gardens 4 stars is because of its location. It is conveniently located; however, many of the hotel rooms face the train station, which is loud and very, very smoky (fumes). If we had a room that didn't face the train station, it would have been a lot better. The staff was great. The homemade breakfast options were great. It is a clean, safe hotel. Just request a room that does not face the station.

Only complaint was the location. We had the family room that was infront of the train station so we diesel fumes all day long . The room was hot and we had to choose between fumes or cooler air. The family who runs this place is absolutely amazing, they couldn't be more helpful. Beds were comfortable . I would recommend but see if there is a room not at the front

The wifi was very bad . The rooms were ok no AC. The breakfast was ok, not a lot of options
