Best place to stay in Urubamba

Budget accommodation in Urubamba is very limited - hence this place is a rare find! We stayed in a huge double room with shared bathroom for only S/ 30. Everything was clean and the owners were friendly and helpful! Raul, the owner, even offered to drive us to the archaeological sites in the vicinity at a minimal fee. Fast Wifi included.

Not many pluses

The good thing about the hotel is that the owners were super nice. Otherwise, it wasn't a great place to stay. The location is not very good, being about a 20 minute + walk to most restaurants. The rooms were OK but the hot water barely worked. The wifi was only really available in the lobby and was very slow. The bathrooms weren't very clean. The breakfast was just coffee/herbal tea, powdered juice, bread, and jam with fruit on some days. I picked the hotel because it was large because we had 12 people. My bed was comfortable but the roosters and barking dogs made sleeping less than ideal. The owners were very accommodating but it wasn't a great stay. It was relatively cheap, but not cheap enough for what we got.

Positivo: Buen desayuno, buena vista ytrato amable. Negativo: Falta poner tapa al water del baño compartido, limpieza en el baño compartido y pasadizos, la habitación tenía papeles higiénicos usados debajo de la cama.

Beste Unterkunft

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und für 2 Personen mit Frühstück sehr preisgünstig. Es werden frische handtücher,seife und toilettenpapier gestellt. Zum Frühstück gibt es Brot, Marmelade und Joghurt. Warme Dusche ist vorhanden. Strahl könnte etwas mehr druck vertragen.
