Great location amazing staff

The hostel is in a great location very close to the main square, cheap, and has a very nice rooftop,
But the most important part is the staff! They were so welcoming and helped above and beyond with anything i needed (and i needed).
I highly recommend!

You get what you pay for?

I get this was quite a cheap hostel but our stay wasn’t good. The showers were always cold, as it gets cold at night a warm shower would help. There were stains in our bed sheets. You do get enough blankets. At night we could hear the concert next door or the disco at the other side of the street, bring your earplugs. The breakfast is a minimum: bread with jam and fruit. Unfortunately, the staff (or I guess it was the staff, as it wasn’t very clear who was working here or just staying for a long time) was smoking during breakfast. It would be good if there would be some hooks or shelves in the room so you can leave your stuff somewhere instead of on the ground. Also some extra hooks in the bathroom would make it easier to shower. You can use the not so clean kitchen and freezer. The location is very good, right next to the main square and there is a 24h reception so when we arrived during the night we could enter.

Would be great except for one inconvenience

Plus...
- LOCATION - We arrived late in the evening, from bus station we took a taxi for 10soles, it was 15minutes to get there. It is very closed to Plaza de Armas.
- STAFF - The staff was very kind and helped us with everything we needed.
- ROOM - We had room upstairs on the terrace and from terrace is view to the main street. The place upstairs is outside, with a bar (also works for breakfast in the morning). Breakfast was good. Room was very simply, just bed and one bedside table, clean. Bathroom was shared, aslo ok, but not warm water. I was a bit scared go during the night on toilet:)
Minus ...
- NOISE - If you want a rest and it is Friday, it is impossible. Hotel bar is ok, because after 22:00 is closed, but noise from the main street that was terrible. We could not sleep till 4am.
- BED BUGS - But what was even worse......There are instructions on the door of the room - when is night rest, banned food and drinks in the room, etc. or we cant to complain about beetles. Unfortunately, after the first night, we were bitten, not from ordinary bugs but from bed bugs. We had paid one more night, but we were leaving to the airport at night, so we slept with the light on, just two hours.
- NOT WARM WATER
- would be nice to put our staff somewhere - at least the clothes hanger would be fine :)

Cool little hostel

Great location - a very short walk away from the Plaza de Armas. Very friendly and helpful staff, who helped us book a Colca Canyon bus tour (the company they recommended for that was also very good). They let us store our bags in a secure room while we were on the tour.
Cheap dorm with decent beds and plenty of blankets. Fairly large lockers. Shared bathrooms, but plenty of them. Although not the best quality (cracked toilet seat in one; often wet from the showers).
Nice roof terrace with a bar and simple breakfast included. But not the best views. Only other complaint is there weren't enough plug sockets.

Amazing value

Can't beat a double room for 50 soles just one block from the Plaza d Armas. Clean and comfortable, although the sheets don't fit the beds (seems to be a problem most hostels we stayed in had, not just this place).
