Great place and awesome location!

I stayed at Hotel Nirvana for a week traveling around Lima and learning about Peruvian cuisine. The hotel is in a prime location of Miraflores,in which I was able to actually walk to many of the restaurants that I wanted to experience, like, Central and Maido. The staff was very friendly and helpful. So many times they helped me navigate around the city. They also have a very good restaurant there which I noticed gets a lot of locals for lunch...and if peruvians are eating here it must mean that the Peruvian food is good.
I highly recommend this hotel and look forwards to visiting again soon.

BEST LOCATION

Best location!!! near amazing restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and Larcomar, where you can enjoy the most breath taking sunsets. The area is safe to walk around. Hospitality is the BEST I have yet to received especially if you are not familiar with the country. They made us feel comfortable and super helpful. My room was very comfortable and clean for me and my family (husband, 2 kids). They served every morning a very well balanced breakfast all homemade, very delicious. The pool was clean and my kids really enjoyed it. I will definitely be back!

Excellent staff & safe area

I ended up here because my airbnb was apparently a scam in a bad neighborhood. My taxi driver brought my friends & I here & we were thrilled that they had 3 rooms available. We were all located on a connecting balcony. Wifi in my room was good but not in their's but we were informed of that. We had free breakfast & lunch & the food was amazing!! Every request we made, they provided. I can't speak highly enough of the staff here. I also spent some time conversing with the owner our last morning there...he's good people. I walked solo at all hours of the night & was perfectly safe. There was plenty of hot water in the shower, clean towels, clean sheets, & the rooms were very comfortable. I absolutely recommend staying here if you're wanting to be near everything in a safe environment, a staff that cares, & excellent food FREE!

Meh

I ended up here after the taxi driver couldn't find the hotel I was initially looking for (the address had changed since my guidebook was published). I paid the listed price of $70 US, and for that price it was a total rip off. The room was tiny, the bed very hard, noise reverberates through the halls and walls. I really would not go back here...maybe it'd be worth it for a much cheaper rate. The staff was nice, and that was a blessing, but not good enough to ever have me want to come back.

Do NOT Stay HERE!

I was drugged at the Lima airport and brought to this hotel after being sold at an auction in a Casino. I am an American. I woke up in a room here with cameras and mirrors on the wall with no clothes on. I was covered in bodily fluids and they had tried to cut out my breast implants. DO NOT stay here!! It is in a residential area, secluded and not in a safe walking area. I was lucky to escape and be alive. A man from Maryland also died here recently from a "supposed" drug overdose. STAY AWAY!!
