Beautiful location, wonderful host, excellent food and accommodation

We had a wonderful experience at this location. The host was very welcoming and the food was excellent. The rooms are beautiful and the location is very relaxing. Close to many cultural sites of significance. Make this your base in the area.

Top place to stay in Lamud

We stayed for four nights at Tambo Sapalanchan in May 2023. We choose this place simply because we wanted to visit the Sarcophages of Karajia, but we got a lot more than we expected. The hotel is just spectacular, equipped with first class Peruvian art of better quality than found in an average museum. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and equipped with a superb bed. The meals are good and prepared by Paul, the owner himself. Moreover, Paul also offers excursions to nearby attractions, which we really enjoyed a lot. What we, however, appreciated most is the personal atmosphere, thanks to Paul, who is undoubtedly a perfect host. Thank you, Paul, for the unforgettable four days at Tambo Sapalanchan.

Lovely Lunch and Location

While traveling on a group trip through Encounter Peru, we stopped at Tambo sapalanchan for a pre arranged lunch. The hotel is exquisite with artifacts from many different places. Our lunch was delicious and they readily made accomodations for the two gluten free travelers. We toured the hotel and found the rooms to be lovely. I would definitely stay there!!

Magnificent!

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Revash. Such a lovely location that we would have liked to have put our feet up and stayed a day or 2 or 3. The rooms are delightful, set in a lovely garden. Our brief lunch was such a wonderful surprise, I was wishing we could try breakfast and dinner, as well.

Very loveley stay with excellent food

A very nice place, quiet and with very friendly hosts. We enjoyed the short stay (one night): especially the very good diner and the interesting and informativ talk with Nora and Paul (with different Piscos after dinner). It's a good starting point to visit the sights of Karajia, Giocta Cave and Pueblo de los Muertos.
