The best corner in town.

It is a hotel with a very nice external presentation, I did not stay because we were passing through, but I would very much like to meet it and stay there, it is beautiful.

Uncomfortable stay

It is located at a point close to the Plaza. We were given Hab 306, with external street view (I liked this, there was natural ventilation).
It had good WiFi connection. Breakfast included is American, served on the top floor. The view of much of the city of Cusco from here, is breathtaking.
What we didn't like:
The receptionist was quite slow to react, poor attention. They are supposed to accept payment with POS and this was NOT charged, being 10:15am (must foresee if one is in a hurry to be able to leave, so difficult to have everything right?). They still charge 5% commission for payment with TC, most of the shops I went to in Cusco no longer charge it. They would be ideal to contemplate it, and if they should raise their prices slightly depending.
Breakfast is served on the top floor, but the space is part of the laundry... You have breakfast on the side of the wet sheets and those that are drying for a change.
The TV didn't have a cable signal, I think you should notify the Check In obligatorily.
The DESEO brand mattress, was very worn, looked like a water mattress all stubborn and without hardness.
The Duvet wasn't clean, it had stains.
I recommend you improve several points.

a great and comfortable visit

Me and my cousin slept at the hotel after the 5 day salkantay trek. We were very tired and wanted to find somewhere to sleep quick, the hotel was very helpful and effective to help us to get a room. The room had a good price and we got a lot for what we paid for, the bathroom, shower and room was well working, very clean and nice. A delicious breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, bread and toppings, fruit etc. was included, and we enjoyed it on the rooftop balcony, which was very spacy, and i must emphasize, the view was absolutely amazing !!!(as seen in picture)
We had a bus to catch the evening after and even though we had just one night, the staff was so nice and helpful to let us store our luggage and stay on the rooftop balcony the whole day, even after our checkout.
The first place i will go if i come back to cusco!!(-:

horrible stay, avoid at all costs

After looking at the reviews from the past year it seemed okay. Yes some complained that coming up the stairs is hard ( and YES it is, I am 28 years old and fit, after a long day hiking the last thing you want is to go up this massive hill of stairs and will end up getting an Uber/ taxi believe me).
Our first interaction was very bizarre. The doors are always locked and no one comes to the door unless you knock for 5 minutes. They speak no English but thank God for Google translate. The entrance is a little sketchy and the hotel looks like it was built in the Inca times of 1500's. If you want the elevator with your luggage on the 4th floor you go into this random dungeon of a room with the elevator that's more of a jack where you close the door and you press a button until you get to the top floor ( it's all open and super sketchy).
The rooms: the rooms look like they have been beaten by gorillas and haven't had any form of tender love and care in years. They are small and the towels and bed linen seem like they've been cleaned in the river outside. Tiny rooms and tiny toilets. But the bed was okay, we slept and that's that. However, they do not clean the rooms after you leave in the morning for a day trip(if you have multiple days there). We had to ask for more towels/ shampoos. WARNING: GIANT SPIDERS RUN AROUND AND YOU HAVE TO KILL THEM. I am not exaggerating when I say the spiders were big but luckily a slipper was handy and did the trick.
Service: the worst service there was in Peru. People are extremely nice here but they were quite rude and didn't want to be bothered. It was very hard to get through to them. As I said they lock the doors every single time through out all day and getting in and out is very inconvenient. If you don't speak Spanish just don't come here.
We needed a later checkout as our flight was delayed and we tried to plead just for one more hour and they would not budge one bit and made us buy the room for a whole day more. I have been to plenty of places on this earth and never have I seen such rude and unwilling people.
Also at the end of our stay they wanted to charge us money in CAD from our booking.com stay but we only had USD. They couldn't fathom the change between the difference in money and almost made me miss my Uber and late to the airport. We paid what we were supposed to and left as they kept going on and on without understanding
PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE EVEN IF THE PRICE IS ATTRACTIVE. JUST PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR A BETTER LOCATION, BETTER SERVICE, AND BETTER ROOMS.
I truly hope I get to save someone the misery we went through

I AM FASCINATED BY THE HOTEL.....

It was a beautiful stay with my partner, we had an excellent evening and delicious breakfast, when we woke up we did not spend on tickets since everything was very close and we only had to walk very little to get to tourist areas, I am delighted, I RECOMMEND IT.
