Honest!!

This is a comfortable hostal to the stay in Panama City, despite it has been in downtown, it's close transistimica corredor and easy to access all parts of the city by metrobus or taxi. The acomodations are very good, clean and the owner's hospitality is high point of this place. All you need you can rely on their suport, Geraldo and Neila are very nice and there you fill in confidence.

Pretty grim. Better deals for your money elsewhere.

Our stay here was an attempt to find lodging near some friends who live in Panama City. It was cheap, but grim. There was no way to lock our door. The sheet barely fit the mattress so the corners came off during the night, exposing the bare mattress. Cold water only in the shower (not that that is unusual in Panama). On the plus side, they do have a kitchen you can use and free internet - though you have to go to the lobby to be close enough to the router to make it work. The people were pleasant. Later in our trip we stayed in an excellent hotel for less than $10 more per night. Check Expedia and shop around.

VERY VERY VERY bad experience ever!!!

Don't go to this hostel!!! I went to panama from Hong Kong for vocation, the hosts and staff doesn't know English, couldn't communicate, every morning, other guests who living there always make noise so damn loud I can't even sleep, they turn off the lights all the time, you wont feel you are in the hostel, its becoz they want to save electricity??? its so creepy!!
The worst experience is, I was going to check out early, however they can't do the refund, so I leave the room with my luggage empty sometime, come back someday after sleep in my friend's apartment, when I was going back to take my luggage, they rent my room to someone else without notify me!!!!!!! What is wrong with these people????? they earn double money from within the same period of time!!!!!!!! NO ONE EVEN TELL ME BEFORE THEY RENT MY ROOM OUT!!!!!!!
If u consider to rent this place, please think twice and twice times 10000 times, the location is not really conviene at all, u either take taxi or u rent with a car, at night its quite danger, less people pass by, not much street light, if you think you can ask for help from this hostel, DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
The room looks good in the photos, we asked them why, they said, its always looking good, because they use other photos, but it doesn't look the same in reality. Think twice, with this price, you can rent a better hotel in city!!!!!

Just don't go there

This place is terrible, the pictures are a set up, nothing like the real thing. When we arrived at reception a rat ran down the hall and through my wifes feet.
The owner wasn't the least bit concerned, had to argue to get half our deposit back, he wouldnt give us the rest. Its in a grubby industrial part of Panama City, miles from anywhere.
Stay away.

Nos dejaron sin habitaciones, pese a la reserva previa

Estuvimos dos noches, la primera muy buena experiencia, el señor dueño nos ayudó con todo lo posible.. Lamentablemente la segunda noche 5 días después no nos guardó las habitaciones, que previamente se habían reservado por la web del hotel, y eso significó que nos dejaron en la calle a las 11pm que llegamos a buscar nuestras habitaciones... No se manejan bien las reservas, y prefieren vender si usted no llega temprano, para garantizar ocupación, a pesar, de tener reserva previa, y una tarjeta registrada. El resto fue normal, muy sencillo, solo para dormir por una escala en Panamá!
