Best experience in khasab
We had a wonderful stay at Atana Khasab Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect with beautiful views. The breakfast was excellent, and everything was well organized. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, the hotel offered great value for money, and the noise level was very low, making it easy to rest. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Khasab!

The Atana Hotel is worth a visit!
At the beginning of January 2026 I stayed three nights at the Hotel Atana Khasab. What can I say? I was absolutely thrilled! The room is large, very clean and the beds are comfortable and high quality. The food is excellent and could not be better. The buffet is very generous and the food is beautifully presented. Even if the hotel is a bit outside, that is no disadvantage. It is very quiet and the location is just fantastic. In the area you can make great trips. I booked a mountain safari with a local vendor from Khasab as well as a trip on a dauw to Telegraph Island. The Omanis are very nice, open and extremely hospitable. The culture in Oman is very interesting. I felt safe at all times and especially at home. Come to Oman! It is definitely worth traveling to Oman and especially to Hotel Atana in Khasab. Here it is beautiful; a great place!!

Dishes are served in a very lavish manner
I think this hotel is the best option in Khasab for those who want to relax after a mountain safari or a boat trip in the Arabian fjords, swimming, or dolphin watching. Don't expect much, it's a small hotel with just enough comfort for those who find themselves here, almost at the end of the world. Musandam is a wonderful place in itself, where you can really escape from the madness of what we call the world today.
It's worth going back at sunset or getting up at sunrise to enjoy the mountains in golden shine from the terrace. Buffet dinner and breakfast are included in the price, and the dishes are served in a very lavish manner and are also delicious. A special feature is that you can also order alcoholic beverages here; the red wine was excellent, but there is also a bar in the hotel building.

Beautiful place to visit but skip staying at Atana
Stayed here multiple times over the years as there are little or no options when visiting mussanadam when it comes to this Well located but old and tired hotel in need of updating & upgrading. Staff are great and do their best but its poorly run and this time disappointed to the extent that we won`t be back. In the abbsence of any visible management personnel its just one disappointment after another. Many of the Advertised F&B options were not available .With the exception of breakfast which is just ok , all other offerings were well below par even for a 3* establishment. Prices on the other hand are extortionate considering whats on offer, and thats before they add four seperate additional taxes totalling about 25% of the bill! Its a real shame as this is a beautiful part of Oman and needs a decent hotel given it popularity with visitors from local market and other nearby countries.
