Lovely stay with some minor room issues
There were 2 issues that I feel I should mention: 1) Lights were hard to turn on / off (especially one overhead of the bed and we had to climb up on the bed to manually turn on / off). And 2) the shower doors didn’t seal water so water always reached the rest of the bathroom. This seems to be a more common thing in Europe, so, probably not as big of a deal as it seemed to us, but this was probably the most “extreme” example of this style of shower we saw.

A very positive experience from start to finish
From check in to check out everything was perfect. My room (in the older 'Motel' wing) may have been older in structure but all the internal furniture was tasteful and I am guessing only one or two years old. The bathroom may have been a bit older looking but spotless, tiled and no issues whatsoever.
The flatscreen TV had an amazing selection of cable tv channels both Norwegian and foreign including BBC, CNN, Cartoon Network. Wifi worked great for streaming shows on my laptop no problem in 720p quality.
Breakfast was yet another positive surprise, lots of tasty local produce.
I have not one bad word to say about this hotel (which is a first for me) and I highly recommend it for a stay, be it business or pleasure.
