Great apartment in family atmosphere

We had a few wonderful days at Gunvor and Trond in Svelvik. It is a beautiful villa.You can use a shared kitchen and living room. Our room also had a small kitchen and large seating area.
The location is fantastic. Directly on a fjord. Seats have been created everywhere outside. Private beach and jetty with stairs to fjord.
Within walking distance (about 1 km.) there is a supermarket.
Gunvor and Trond are great hosts. There was a very warm welcome when we arrived. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

Absolutely Lovely!

Wow! What a pretty peaceful place! Our only regret was staying just a single night. We were 3 ladies from Florida who had travelled all day by train from Flam. When we arrived it was almost dark. We were hungry and asked the owner, Trond, to call us a cab to town. (which was just a little too far to walk at night) Trond kindly drove us into town himself! Such a kind man! Our room was huge. It was 2 rooms really with a separate little kitchen & full bath. Also a nice balcony overlooking the fjord. It was decorated with many personal cozy touches. The house, property and grounds are gorgeous. The place is like a peaceful little paradise and the owners could not be kinder. I only wish we could have stayed another day or two but our flight home was the next morning. I highly recommend this private guest house. And the price was great too!

A lovely apartment with a stunning view

We had a really comfortable stay in the villa.
The apartment was beautifully decorated. It was spacious enough for four of us. Beds had been nicely made when we arrived. Linens were clean. Kitchenette was well equipped with cooking utensils. There was nothing at all which we did not like about the place. Best of all, we could overlook the stunning fjord from the balcony.
Our host, Trond was such a helpful and welcoming person. He helped us to plan our driving trip to Flam before we departed. It was a great pleasure staying in Villa Rorvik and meeting Trond!

One of the best places I have stayed at. Ever.

Villa Rørvik is an amazing place, a peaceful guesthouse in a beautiful setting.
The studio room we had was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. It didn't matter that being on the lower/basememt level meant that it had no view and little natural light - just a better reason to explore the amazing property with many hidden private areas overlooking the water, or the pontoon and bbq area near the chicken coop.
We didn't have much chance to speak with our hosts however they were friendly and obliging and allowed us to check in several hours early which was much appreciated.
I can't recommend this place enough!

Beautiful flat on the fjord

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. They are right on the water with their own beach and a deck for a BBQ or to just enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended if you are stating in the area. Jeg skal tilbake!
