A bit dark, but modern

The agency chose this hotel for after the ascent to the nearby Preikestolen, but unfortunately did not include a visit to Stavanger.
You are welcomed by the typically Norwegian barception (reception with a bar).
Room 469 is very dark, although well decorated with large posters. Instead of a wardrobe, it has a coat rack that is hidden by the sliding glass door of the bathroom, with a paper bag for clothes you do not wish to recycle or resell. The TV has 21 channels, with the last one being Sky News. A foldable rack hangs behind the door to place the suitcase.
The bathroom has a rotary switch with a dimmer to adjust the lighting intensity. The towels are far from the shower, and there is no towel rack for the hand towel. There is also no towel for the feet, and the area around the sink gets wet. The shower has two showerheads: one large fixed and one small that can be handheld. The faucet slips with soapy hands, and it quickly switches from one showerhead to the other: it is very difficult to turn on. The mirror has enough light for what is customary, and the central mirror slides to see the bed.
The breakfast restaurant is very small, and you have to find a spot, walk around, or end up at a high table. Variety of products, except for plums, nuts, and mint. Another day I will try the acacia honey. The small toaster is insufficient and hardly toasts.

Very good experience considering the price we payed and in relation to other hotels in the area. Bed in our room not at all comfortable, not much of a madras.

Family of 4

We were a family of 4 and had very little room where all floor space was taken with the sofa bed up. Also disappointed with the quality of both sofa bed and double bed. Breakfast was nice, but the logistics around breakfast was awful. Run every day to pick up food, when you were to sit down there was rarely a table and wind up. Here there is great potential for improvement.

What a chaos

Busy times at breakfast are announced, but that’s not good enough. The hotel should reorganise the whole breakfast experience. Check in staff was not proactive and gave an impression of not interested in the experience for the hotel guests.

Poor customer service, room was not in best condition (broken plugs, hair dryer, toilet seat). Parking machine didnt work.
