Thank you for a fantastic stay with you at the Thon Hotel in Sortland 21-23/7-2026:
1; Check-in:
Impeccable, skilled receptionist, got an upgraded room without asking for it.....very well done.
Breakfast:
No queue, even though the hotel was almost full, plenty of food, also gluten-free bread products, nice breakfast host who mingled between the tables, cleared, washed and prepared for new guests....Fantastically skilled employee with you.
3: The restaurant;
Skilled waiters, short waiting time between food order and serving, nice prices, very good food.
4: Check-out:
Went like clockwork, nice people at the reception......Nothing to complain about.
My wife and I have stayed at several hotels in the Thon chain over the years, this hotel in Sortland is by far the very best...
For a one-off we bought a flower that was delivered to the hotel reception, given to all the talented employees at Thon Hotell Sortland - honestly deserved.

The restaurant was advertised as being open until 2100 on a Sunday. We arrived at 2000 to be told it had shut at 1900. There aren’t many other options in Sortland on a Sunday evening and no other compromise was offered by the hotel staff, despite the fact they were still providing food to a coach party beyond 2100.

Holiday in the Arctic

Nice hotel, very good breakfast and dinner. Perfect location far from the very tourist cities, but in the right place to discover the Arctic.
It’s easy to arriva from Evenes airport by bus!

Mediocre hotel, small rooms, we had a pretty good dinner, new hotel policy: if you do not specify that you want your room cleaned, you will find an unmade bed and an uncleaned bathroom with damp towels... quite messy.

Very good.

Very good hotel with large and free parking. Large, nice rooms with good beds. Nice staff, good breakfast as well as good food in the restaurant. Stay there every time I'm there at work.
