Amazing breakfast and lovely staff.

A warm welcome on arrival from the manager, Ann.
A quiet and spotless single room. Really nice bathroom toiletries and very generous bottle of hand/body cream, plus another bottle of conditioner. Face towel provided also.
The most amazing selection of food at breakfast, and plenty of it. Plus a cooked option from the menu if you wish.
Central location. It really is central to everything. A real bonus.
A very well run hotel by ever cheerful and hardworking staff.
Fantastic value for money.

Best "Value for money" of the entire holiday

Great value for money! Got a relatively good price and had little expectations. But: The room was clean and not worn. The heating cables on the bathroom floor were good and warm. The shower was tight. The bed was good. And breakfast, indescribably good! Good location too.

The staff were fantastic. The hotel was very nice and within walking distance to many restaurants and pubs. The area was beautiful.

Refined hotel

We stayed at the Wivel Hotel in Narvik for only one night, while waiting for our departure from the airport, but this brief experience left us with a truly special memory.
It is a sober hotel, without useless frills, but with a rare quality: that of authentic hospitality. Everything is taken care of with great attention, from the impeccable cleanliness to the breakfast, organized in a refined way even in the limited space, with many small offerings that are always fresh and tidy.
We really appreciated the small welcome gesture found at the table: a delicious cream puff and a berry smoothie. A simple but very elegant touch, capable of making the guest feel truly welcomed.
A special thanks to the lady who took care of the breakfast room: with discretion, kindness, and a truly rare sensitivity, she paid attention to every detail and to the guests' needs. Her way of working conveyed care, professionalism, and a genuine pleasure in welcoming people.
Thank you for making even just one night of our trip to Norway special. We will carry with us a beautiful memory of your hospitality.

Five stars for breakfast

Among the Norwegian hotels where we stayed, this quiet, mid-sized hotel in Narvik definitely beats them all when it comes to breakfast: tables set with tablecloths and matching tableware, a wide selection of sweet and savory products, a chef cooking hot dishes to order from a menu, and the presence of many fresh products, some homemade. The room was standard, simple, and mid-sized. Good location. Private paid parking. Or the option to park on the street for the same price, but with the inconvenience of having to move the car every two hours during the day.
