Wonderful breakfast

According to the young lady working at the reception, it is only open during the summer. The rest of the year it serves as a dorm or "retreat" place for folk school students.
Our room had 2 bunk beds.
Note: This hostel is not located in the city centre.
Pros:
-Clean common toilets and shower in the hallway and no wait time at all.
-A guest kitchen on the second floor where we stayed
-Free waffle coffee tea
-Shelve space, desk with drawers, cabinets with hangers and metal baskets to spread your toiletries and stuff
-A sink with a mirror inside the room
-Wonderful breakfast in another building the next morning.
-Ample free parking
Cons:
-didn't have any hair dryer in the common washroom or any to be borrowed from the reception

Very basic

This hostel has few staff. The reception is only open for a short time. It is very basic for its price. The rooms are in an old building where some maintenance is needed. Toilets and showers in 1 wet room. Not really suitable anymore. Molde itself and surroundings super for walking.

Comfortable affordable accomodation

Summer seasonal hostel operates in one block of the Folkehøgskole at the western end of the city and overlooking the fjord. Various types of accommodation available including dorms and single rooms at quite reasonable rates. Modern purpose built accommodation block. Clean comfortable rooms and large common room on ground floor (with free waffles!). Small common areas and limited kitchen facilities on each floor. Good breakfast served in large refrectory in an adjacent building. Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Loads of parking space. Pleasant stay. Recommended.

Adequate, average hostel

Nothing really wrong with this hostel, and we slept well in a double room with a beautiful view over the fjord. Breakfast was also all right. But the place feels a bit tired, hence the average rating. Also, we did book a room with private bedroom, but none were available when we arrived, so we got one with shared facilities. That said, good to get a room at all during the Molde jazz festival, so we did not make a fuzz. The walk to the city centre is about 2 km, or 20 minutes.

Good value for money, but not easy to find.

This hostel is good value for money for Norway, but not easy to find and it is some way from the centre of town. The room was typical of its kind, but clean and a good shower. Lots of space for parking. Check in time was very late - 4 or 5 in the afternoon, so I had to hang around for some time, but there was access to a lounge, so waiting was no hardship.
Breakfast was good and included in the room price.
