Best place in Arendal!

It was the simple cabin we stayed in, the place is clean and simple, things are a bit old but it’s fine. The shower place is about two minutes to walk, clean and bright. The bed is very comfortable. It can be quite cold in the evening. The beach nearby is very nice to play, especially for children.

Camping for families with small children

Busy, expensive campsite, very small beach. We stood with our roof tent among the campers in a parking lot high above the campsite. Very bad weather...asked for another place...was not possible. We were very disappointed with this campsite. Perhaps fun for families with small children.

There is no bath in the tent, while noted in Hotels.com as the tent facilities!
No breakfast in the restaurant.
No place to wash the dishes.
Rather expensive, almost at price of a room in a hotel in Arendal center!
There are very few benches!
However;
Good restaurant with nice people.
Beautiful area.

Super spacious camp ground

We - a family of 4 plus a dog - love the super spacious are to pitch tents. They limit the number of tents to 75, which give all plenty of space, incl. the option to hang up hammocks in the shade of the numerous pine trees. Option to eat out in their nearby restaurant is a nice add-on, and so are possibility to rent kayaks or SUPs. The area around the camp ground offers fantastic trails for hikes and biking, plus beaches and bays for swimming and SUP rounds.
While the showers are great with lots of warm water, the only thing missing are good facilities to do the dishes; hope that will come soon!

Awesome place for camping newbies!

My family never camped together! So we want to have a good place to give us pleasant experience! And we did! Yurt had everything we needed! Beds were clean and comfortable. It was a bit warm if the doors are closed but not too bad! Rooftop is transparent so an eye mask for longer sleep is recommended;) I will go again for sure!!
