Fantastic view

We visited Hoel Farm as a couple and had a fantastic experience. The outdoor room was actually closed, but we wanted to have a coffee and enjoy the beautiful view. The staff at the reception was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and chose to serve us anyway.
It really made our day extra special. The atmosphere, the service and the fantastic view over Mjøsa created a perfect experience. Such places and people are highly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Great location and lovely food

A bit difficult review, because I think maybe we were a little unlucky with the room, the bathroom and generally some little things.
What was good:
-Fantastically friendly staff who only wanted the best.
- Fantastic location!
-Well-maintained area and lovely garden/bath/gym
-Fantastic dinner, drink and good breakfast!
What wasn't good:
-a lot of mess and garbage around the house (seemed as if they were cleaning up). This was there both nights we were there.
-we and other guests had to clean tables during breakfast and search for products that were empty.
-No shower soap in the room, only shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Nor a laundry cloth.
-Dusted old pipe was part of the room, our clothes became dirty by that they were lying next to this (many, lots of dust!!).
-the shower and silicone edge down the shower looked both worn, dirty and old out (brown).
- Dirty double-bust.
-no information in advance on mail about when dinner was or that it was "snack time" before dinner.
-smelled some sewage outside our room during our entire stay.
-one had to go to the reception to buy drinks, could not be ordered in the main house (impraticable in the wheat rain).
-missed a bathrobe in the room, had to search this several times before it came.
When you appreciate the experience, it’s not full pot, even though much here is awesome!

A stately accommodation by Mjøsa with a fantastic kitchen

A very well-maintained large farm on the banks of Mjøsa. The kitchen delivers food made mostly from local ingredients of very high quality. Very nice host and service. We stayed in the main house in a beautifully refurbished large and airy room. This place is highly recommended.

Do not stay at the double cabins

When you pay almost 2000 NOK to spend the night here, make sure you are not sleeping at the double cabins by the lake. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the room next door. Even regular conversations sound like they are in the same room as you are.
The scenery and location is really beautiful.

Kjære Cvon,
Takk for din tilbakemelding. Velkommen tilbake.
