This place is a hidden gem. All the staff is amazing, great breakfast and full bar and restaurant. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This could be a really good hotel if the staff were better trained. Booking in involved one member of staff dealing with queueing guest whilst at least 3 other staff polished glasses and chatted behind the bar. Rooms are clean and a decent size. Our food order took just under an hour to arrive, which is poor. This was dealt with by the manger but tainted the whole experience.

The accommodation was as you would expect but in need of updating, we ate in the restaurant and the food was good. But the service was awful, we waited an hour for our food. The staff seemed in need of training but were very pleasant.

Good hotel! In a good area, very very quiet. Maybe a bit expensive for how far it is from the center on foot (45 min), although if you take the 7 or the 8 you can get there in 15 min.
An occasional spider web in the room. Taking into account that it is surrounded by green areas, we didn't mind seeing an occasional bug, but the spider web thing is something to check out hahaha.
In general, the staff is friendly and very attentive. If you ask them not to clean your room, they give you a 5 euro voucher to spend at the bar restaurant, so we took advantage of it to have coffee.

Must do better
The restaurant service and staff were poor. Waited over an hour and a half for my main which I had to ask for after they decided they couldn't do one of the mains I had asked for some time after placing the order. Eventually the main arrived after I had to chase again, it was a pitifully small portion which I ate in less than 10 minutes, very bad value for money. No apology given from staff and they offered free parking but I came by bus, to which the manager froze and didn't know what to say, she just assumed I'd come by car for some reason. No discount offered so had to demand one which they couldn't do so I suggested they gave me free breakfast instead. The breakfast self serve area is far too small, in a silly little corridor thats hidden away for some reason. Orange juicer machine spat orange on me when someone was attempting to squeeze the oranges, then it was clogged up so had to ask someone to clean it out and do it for me, the first guy just ignored my request and went on to deal with someone else shameful behaviour, didn't even tell me that there was an alternative juice machine which I found round the corner at the coffee station. The coffee machine spat hot milk everywhere and doesn't fill the cup. No bus stop on the hotel side of the road, only on the opposite side of road for going to Tilburg so if you have a suitcase its no good. Not ideal for popping into town and heading back late, taxi would be required. So many more issues that I just haven't time to list.
