A lovely family hotel

With a group of friends consisting of 6 couples stayed at this hotel for a weekend. The hotel offers a nice package consisting of 2 nights, 2 very extensive breakfasts and 2 excellent 3 course dinners and that for €225,= per person.
The reception is friendly. The room neat, clean and complete.
On Fridays we have a nice table for drinks and dinner. Three courses, very tasty. A nice amuse followed by a smoked duck breast salad, a nice piece of diamond tenderloin and a chocolate cake for dessert. Visibly made with passion.
After the bike ride on Saturday we had drinks on the terrace and again enjoyed a fish-based menu. Since there were also guests who did not like fish, the menu was neatly adjusted for those. The original menu consisted of a nice salmon mouse beforehand, followed by a delicious hake fillet and tiramisu finally. Really anything more than fine.
The bikes reserved for our planned bike ride will be ready Saturday morning as agreed.
Really nice hotel where you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

Long wait while it wasn't busy and super small portion for a lot of money

Today at the end of the afternoon have a drink on the beautiful terrace. Wasn't a card on the table we had to ask for. Was brought but not completely eventually got the rest himself. After a long wait asked if we could order something. Beer, cassis and a portion of sausage and cheese. After a long wait, this was finally brought. Before 11,90 there were 6 slices of Frisian sausage and 6 dots of cheese. To our question if this was really the portion we got an answer that I don't know you should ask inside. I haven't seen anyone for a while so I ended up going in myself to pay where the ladies were chatting together. In summary not a pleasant experience

Quietly located hotel

Quiet and clean Hotel. Very friendly staff and the decor of the restaurant takes you back in time (could use an upgrade).
Rooms are spacious, with kettle to make tea, but with mattresses that are a bit on the hard side.

Average hotel but the location and terrace make up for it.

Restaurant and terrace are lovely! Sweet girls too who served us.
The rooms are a bit outdated and in urgent need of some refreshment. Everything rather basic. No luxury. The room also smelled musty and dusty but was clean. Breakfast was too expensive for what you got.
Also went wrong with the settlement, room was already paid but was charged again.

A lovely little hotel

Travelling several times a month with work you never know what you will find when you first arrive at a hotel. This is a real gem, a lovely little hotel in a small village. The rooms are either in the original villa, and have lots of character, or in the purpose-built new wing looking over the garden. I was in the villa.
The room was comfortable, clean, quiet & with lots of space. The bed was comfortable. There is parking available on site. The staff were friendly and efficient. Good value.
The restaurant had a 'surprise menu', where you say how many courses you want, whether you want the vegetarian options, and if there are any foods you don't like, and you are brought your 'surprise' dishes. Excellent food, really good quality.

Very good location
