Recommended, look no further: Hotel Lichtstad exceeded our expectations

We came with a group, including one couple. Changing the rooms on the spot was no problem; they helped us until we were all very satisfied. Satisfaction only increased when it turned out that an excellent breakfast was served in the dining room/café. Staff are helpful and focused on solving our needs. We stayed 2 nacghten-3days and every day we were very satisfied.

Very expensive for the quality. Noisy, old, and badly in need of renovation.

Save your money and choose another hotel! Very disappointing! Too expensive for the quality and definitely not recommended. There are several hotels in the same city with much better quality for half the price.

Pathetic experience with B&B Eindhoven

Don’t think to bring family to this hotel. Pathetic a a small word.
Reason: I couldn’t even stay for 5-10 Mins in the room due to mismanagement / misalignment between Agoda and the property. As per my initial booking, I have requested a private / non-shared bathroom, but I was provided with a shared bathroom. I was told that Breakfast was included for all guests, but the property took 15 Euros extra as breakfast for my wife was not covered per them. Property guy literally said that they don't care what's in the Agoda booking, but only care what's in their system. The environment was so hostile to stay as I requested non-smoking, but the people were smoking just between reception and entry and also in the same floor where room was given. It's impossible for any decent family to stay in that hotel.

Very large, light room with sink, comfy bed, table and chairs and a TV.
Downstairs there is a bar and a takeaway food hatch which was really good.
There are buses into town not too far away or you could walk within half an hour.
The only thing I didn't like was the shared bathroom although we were right next door to it which was better. As a woman I was a bit cautious. It does say private or shared when booking but I couldn't see any options to specify a preference.
A kettle in the room would be a great addition but all in all it was a comfortable stay.

The booked hotel was closed at the time of my arrival.
I had to book another hotel.
