For repetition.

Friendly, professional welcome where the welcome drink as indicated on the site was missing. All the more praise. Helpful, friendly, professional staff. Everything clean and cared for. Great food and service.

None worthy of van der Valk

I find it a disappointing hotel, from what I am used to from van der Valk. The corridors very unsociable and unkempt, dirty elevator. A lack of night porter and reception at the same location. Nice that you want to take care of others who need it, but possibly worth mentioning this keeps it transparent. The location makes you want to be here, unfortunately not this hotel

No good experience in temporary popup restaurant

Ever been before, then good, but now bad experience. Today (Sun 2 Nov 2025) after fifteen minutes of waiting still no ministry. Staff were in excess, they were busy with everything, and the restaurant was not crowded. You know, I talked to someone myself at the time and said I wanted to eat. The staff was very friendly. Temporary popup restaurant is neat in itself, but a lot of buzz / noise because there are hard floors everywhere.

Worthless, not worth repeating. WARNING: do not eat there.

Hello, dear Manager,
I hope you will read this as a complaint that expects a response.
On 10 September between 16:50 and 18:40 we tried to be able to supple 2 courses at your place. Unfortunately: because at 18:20 I asked the wait staff if my cow still needed to be slaughtered. There were apologies and the offer of a drink at Spier's expense, but my ultimatum was that I would leave at 18:30 with my company. All around us guests came and guests even went with 3 courses behind the molars. At 18:30 we got up and walked away to return home via the cash register (but paying 5 drinks and 3 appetizers). Our drive was from Ulsda to Apeldoorn, with a stop in Spier. It was reported that a manager had to remove the unenjoyed dishes from the system and what outlines my surprise!!! The manager comes with the requested main courses in hand and extreme attempts to turn the tide. BUT UNFORTUNATELY too late. I paid and we went.
Ask now to answer: How can it be that you are forgotten but when you complain it can be realized within ten-fifteen. At vd Valk Cuijk I have sent back my liver 3 times which was served from bloody to shoe sole, but this from yesterday takes the crown.
Please a response that does justice to the disappointment suffered.

Great hotel

We slept here for 2 nights in the Dubai-Suite. That is highly recommended! Large suite with separate sleeping and sitting areas. Large Jacuzzi and private sauna for approx 3 people. Fully equipped.
The Service was excellent and welcoming.
The breakfast was fine and the lunch menu is also extensive.
The quality of the dinner we found disappointing. We're better used to v.d. Falcon hotels.
