A great place to chill after trekking

We stayed with Dinesh and his family for a few nights. They were very caring to their guests and provide comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings, overlooking the lake, mountains and have a large amount of animals surrounding the property. Which gives an amazing feeling of living in nature. A great place to chill after trekking.

Humble stay in lush and quiet place

Staying at Dinesh‘s house was the most humble experience since you are being treated not as a foreigner but part of their family. At the same time, you have your own space and can do what you feel to do.
Whenever you need anything, one of them is around and supports you with what is needed. I went on a little walk with Dinesh one day who showed me Rupa lake and its surroundings. He is a gentle guide allowing you to be in nature, without many words.
The house is located perfectly and maintained by the family and their big heart for many, many years. Dinesh‘s wife is serving fresh home-made food which is very delicious and filling for the day.
I was able to see how they also harvest their own honey from the bees they take care of. It is so fresh and delicious!
The family maintains a lovely fruit and vegetables garden. Many flowers, old trees and the view to lakes and mountains are welcoming you here.
The Vipassana Meditation Center is a three minutes walk away and I truly recommend to stay at Dinesh‘s house after you did a Vipassana retreat. You can continue the silence here.

A wonderful gem - great hospitality

Wonderful guesthouse run by a lovely Nepali family, Dinesh (an former teacher) and his wife. The views are spellbinding, and the accommodation is very charming and clean. The house sits on a well oriented garden where the family grow an abundance of organic food, which you enjoy for both breakfast and dinner. This is a gem and we will be back.

Great place!

I stayed 4 days. Everything went very well. Dinesh and his family are very welcoming. This is often the case in Nepal, but there it was even more! The view is really superb. It's very peaceful, relaxing and the food was very good. Really enjoyed it. I recommend !
