Just excellent

We chose it, because it's outside of kathmandus bustle. For us everything at the stay was perfect. They took best care of us and helped so much with daily plans and departure. They have so much to offer and we liked to visit Pharping as a daytrip. You could just go to Joy Source because of the nice view. We wish you all the best and we hope to visit again. :)

A soul-healing stay in Joy Source Resort :)

I bumped into Dayan a year ago in KTM and instantly sensed I needed to visit their resort at some point. It took a year for me to return to Nepal and I now had the chance to spend 4 incredible days in this hidden mountain paradise! It's not just the incredible views, luxurious cabins, fresh mountain air and amazing, fresh local food (+excellent coffee and even korvapuusti that we Finns cherish so much!) that blew my mind - it's the loving, tight-knit community that makes it such a magical place. And it's only a 1,5 hour drive (+about 100 or so steps!) away from KTM!
Thank you for the inspiring experience, I'm in awe of all the joy you're spreading around :)

A Highly recommendable stay: peacefulness, hospitality, food, views!

Have been fortunate to stay at Joy Source Resort in Pharping a couple of times already, staying from a couple of days until to a week. The warm, genuine hospitality, beyond peaceful spirit, very tasty organic food and the amazing views make a perfect combination for me - especially so after some trekking or/and mountaineering, when one's body and soul truly appreciate rest and recovery. Looking forward to return in Oct 2018!

Wonderful place

Wonderful place. Reasonable price. Wonderful and fresh, genuinely organic food. Kind and gentle staff. Wonderful views. Peaceful and calm. Green, nice smells, beautiful decorative touch. Strongly recommend if you can find it!

Delightful peaceful B&B in the hills close to Kathmandu

This is lovely place close to Kathmandu, but nevertheless in the clean fresh air of the nearby hills. The friendly owners have built a lovely B&B, with strong links to the local community and most fresh food sourced locally. There are two lovely detached small wooden houses and a number of airy rooms. Food is innovative and a mix of tastes, very well cooked. Lovely breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the nearby forested hills. Very reasonably priced.
