Exceptional Chobe riverfront stay

Amazing experience in a relaxed atmosphere, with professional and personalised care throughout. The food is excellent, the team is flexible, and the sunset boat cruises are truly outstanding. Daytime game drives are full of joy and unforgettable moments. A perfect location to experience the best of Chobe, with exceptionally comfortable and beautifully designed water villas.

On the river

This place was an absolute gem. It was easily one of the most luxurious and relaxing places I’ve ever been. The views were breathtaking, and the activities were perfectly curated. The sunset safari cruise was an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the staff for making this stay so seamless and enjoyable. A special shoutout to Ndahafa for ensuring our spa time was both relaxing and grounding.

Namibia Exceptional

★★★★★
Our stay at Chobe Water Village was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality by a truly wonderful team.
The accommodations are absolutely beautiful—charming over-the-water chalets, tastefully decorated and perfectly designed to blend comfort, elegance, and the natural beauty of the surroundings. Waking up to the views each morning was unforgettable.
I treated myself to both a full-body massage and a facial, and the experience was outstanding. The spa treatments were professional, relaxing, and among the best I have enjoyed anywhere.
The food was spectacular throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and exceeded our expectations.
What truly makes Chobe Water Village special is its people. Every employee we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.
Without a doubt, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia, and we would highly recommend Chobe Water Village to anyone looking for a unique, luxurious, and unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is lovely, the rooms are amazing, right on the Chobe River. The food is delicious. But the excursions ended up hurting the experience a bit.
The Chobe River is the border between Namibia and Botswana. We arrived via Botswana, and the only way to reach the hotel is by boat. And every time you leave the hotel, you need to take a boat and go through 2 immigration processes (entry and exit of each country), both on arrival and departure from the hotel. There's no way to do anything that isn't by boat.
We booked a 5-hour tour to Victoria Falls, in Zimbabwe, which would have required 8 immigration crossings — something we were never warned about. Namibian immigration closes at 4:30pm, and we only found this out on the day itself. So the tour had to be squeezed into 1h30 to make it in time for all the immigration crossings. But we were still charged the full price of the 5-hour tour, because according to them, we "cancelled the tour" last minute.
All in all, the hotel is great — as long as you stay at the hotel.
