Great service with a river view!

We stayed here for a short trip, just a little distance from downtown Yangon. The breakfast was very good—my wife especially enjoyed the fried rice. A special thanks to HK Manager Ko Zaw Min Tun, who arranged a beautiful anniversary setup on the bed, which was such a wonderful surprise when we entered the room.
The hotel is located opposite Water Boom and Kan Tat Bar, making it a nice spot to chill out. If you’re looking for a place not too far from Yangon, this is a great choice.

Things we don’t like was that the doors were hard to close, too many ants, and the bed sheets weren’t that clean, but overall the place was pretty good.

Highly recommend

Service was simply amazing. The food in the restaurant and the service top notch. People serving were kind and professional. They even brewed coffee for us knowing we preferred black coffee. Such personal service! The room was spacious and shower hot and bed decently comfortable. We would certainly stay again. The front desk was also helpful!

It was a good stay at Uptown hotel. Hotel is clean and the room I stay was a fairly large size. Breakfast was ordinary. Hotel is a good 30 mins to Yangon city centre. Overall, I am happy with my 3 days stay in the hotel.
