Good place to stop for a travel break.

We stopped here for morning tea/coffee during our Morocco tour, and found it to be a nice oasis of rest. Service was good, and the surroundings were comfortable. Recommended for a travel break. Clean toilets as well, which is always a bonus.

Mountain View

Stayed one night in this hotel (room #43), no elevator, friendly staff, secured car park for 10 dirham per night, no breakfast (the restaurant is closed) but there is a small bar. Many shops & restaurants near the hotel. The room is big, tidy and clean with comfortable bed. The air conditioner is good (hot/cold) but only one remote control used for all rooms, no telephone in the room, small TV with many channels. The Bathroom is clean with very hot water, two clean towels, (no soap, must be requested from front desk)

Long time no see

After a long time away from Midelt, I came back to visit that monument we used to run next to when we were kids. Hotel El ayachi has been partially renovated, there is a new managing team. The food was good. My room had a wonderful view of the mountain. There is WI-FI but they could do better than the small TVs.
I was amawed of the changes operated in the Hotel by te new management team. they are welcoming and open to criticism.
I definitely recommend this place

Terrible hotel with horor movie looks

Stay away if you can. We staid there as a group and all found it a terrible place to stay, the nature there is beautiful so we stays for a walk..For that pick a different hotel there's nothing wrong with midelt..Our shower smeled like faeces..Toilet dripped the "fixxed" it but it kept running and in the end oozing from One of the pipes..
Ecorationis heavily outdated and dirty/broken..
Restaurant sucked for dinner the waiter was a nice kind man though he could't help it..
Only One of the rest of the staf was nice and helpfull, we needed directions..
For the rest stay away, sorry to say but most horrible hotel ever..

Awful

Having done extensive research before our Morocco trip I now realise the value of taking the time to plan carefully. Because I always do this and read reviews compulsively I'd forgotten how ripped off you can be if you are unprepared! Our plans changed unexpectedly due to a car hire issue and we ended up having to spend an unscheduled night here. It was freaky weird. When we arrived we were told only one room remained...the suite (of course)and so we took it. T he best room in the house!!! OMGIt looked like the suite from a horror movie.....probably stylish in the 70's but not one thing had been updated since then. We were the only people (in the FULL hotel) for dinner or breakfast and the hovering waiter in a tux just added to the surreal atmosphere. Strange hotel and not in a good way. It did however seem reasonably clean and the food was ok. I'd avoid.
