Poor Standards

The hotel is located close to the old Medina; however, guests have to walk through a very dark alley to reach it, which does not feel particularly safe or welcoming.
The property is nothing like the traditional riads we stayed in elsewhere in Morocco and lacks the charm and character we expected. Our room was extremely small and dark, and the bathroom was so tiny that two people could barely stand side by side.
We also experienced repeated power outages during our stay. When we asked the reception staff whether the issue would be fixed, we were told that the electricity could not cope with the high use of air conditioning. This is unacceptable for a property advertised as a four-star hotel.
Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations and does not deserve a four-star rating.

They didn't give us the room...

Booked on booking, we arrived at 7pm and are told there were no rooms available.
As soon as we go out to look for a place for the night we receive communication from booking that we did not show up at the Riad ...
