A welcoming riad with top service

Very nice experience in this riad.
As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a delicious glass of tea, which immediately makes us comfortable. The service is excellent and the staff is very attentive.
Many thanks to the manager, Mr Mehdi, who is really friendly and professional. He regularly updates to make sure everything is going well and nothing is missing, which is very welcome.
The breakfast is hearty and very good. The rooms, even if they are not very numerous, are nice, clean and comfortable.
I highly recommend this riad for its welcome, quality of service and pleasant atmosphere.

Dirty,, ramshackle bed, dirty bedding, had to ask everywhere, towels, toilet paper, irresponsible boy

We waited outside for half an hour before opening the door.
The boy said it was my own fault that I had made a reservation I should read the reviews better.
Nobody took responsibility for what was wrong.

Naar aanleiding van uw feedback hebben wij onmiddellijk maatregelen genomen: we hebben zowel de schoonmaakmedewerker als een deel van het personeel vervangen en extra training ingevoerd om professionaliteit, communicatie en verantwoordelijkheid te verbeteren.

An authentic Moroccan getaway

Mum and I spent a week here and loved our time in Marrakesh. The weather at this time of the year was pleasant and just warm enough. We used the in-house airport shuttle to collect and drop us back. We could have saved money if I'd thought differently as plenty of services available. The riad staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The riad itself was colourful and vibrant. The rooms were smaller than expected and we opted for a private bathroom which we were glad for although not big. Breakfast was always plentiful with lots of traditional Moroccan foods. We had to get used to mint tea so were glad that we carried along English tea which we asked to be brewed for us and they were very obliging. We included dinner as part of our stay and being vegetarian, we quickly grew bored of the dishes. The variety served was very much the same on most nights even after requesting for something different. The location was great as we were able to walk everywhere and felt very safe. Although we were cautious as 2 solo women, we did have hassle from some men but quickly decided to ignore any attention and made all the difference. We booked our own excursions through Booking.com and had a fab to the Atlas mountains, Essaouiria and dinner in the Agafay Desert. Enjoyed our time so much that we will definitely return to Morocco.

Best host

We stayed 2 nights at the riad and 3 days on a Sahara trip and it was one of the best experiences of my life thanks to the host, Mehdi. He is very friendly, funny and caring, he thinks about you as his family member. The location is perfect and the breakfast was also very nice. If you are outgoing and adventureous, he is your man and this is your place to stay at Marrakech.
What true is true it’s not the most luxorius equipped hotel but it’s matching with the price.

The kindest riad of all!

We stayed in the rias for 2 nights and 3 days we take part in the Sahara experience with their coordination as a private tour.
It was my second time in this riad.
What true is true it’s not a luxury hotel but it’s matching with the price.
We have to mention Mehdi who is the owner and he take care of us during the whole time (for example reminded us that we have to print the boarding pass, or that this is the last stop before the Sahara so we have to buy water). He made us feel like we coming home or we part of a family! He is the most helpful and genuinely caring and kind person in whole Morrocco!
Also shout out to the driver who was also eager to meet with every of our needs during our tour! No matter what problem or need we had we could turn to them without any hesitation!
