Superb
I had a great stay at Riad El Maktoub. Ismail welcomed us warmly and picked us up from the parking to guide us to the riad, which made everything very easy. The breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm and beautiful. He also helped us again with our luggage back to the parking. Ismail explained everything about Marrakech and gave us very good recommendations for places to eat. If you need excursions, trips, or help planning your stay, just ask him—he is always happy to help. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech, everything was perfect!

Fantastic stay, the best Riad in Marrakesch
We had a wonderful stay at Riad El Maktoub in Marrakech. The location is fantastic — perfectly situated in a strategic area of the Medina, with excellent restaurants just a few steps away. Grand Bazar, for example, was outstanding and became one of our favorite spots.
The riad itself is beautiful, very clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was truly wonderful. The lady who prepares and serves it is incredibly sweet and attentive, which made every morning special.
The price–quality ratio is excellent and offers great value for money. However, what made our stay truly exceptional was the attention from Ismael. From the moment we arrived, he took care of everything — organizing our arrival and departure, picking us up, recommending amazing places to eat every evening, and even making restaurant reservations for us. On a day when we had an early morning tour, he thoughtfully prepared a box lunch for us. He was attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Ismael is “el mejor jefe”.
We would return to this riad a thousand times and recommend it 100%. Thanks to Ismael, our stay was absolutely excellent !!!

Wonderful Riad!
Excellent location: main attractions very close, especially located within walking distance of the central square. It also proved to be very convenient for markets and souvenir shops.
Wonderful welcome from Ismail, with a delicious hot tea and some tips on the surroundings.
Very pretty patio: clean and well cared for.
The room looked exactly like in the picture: spotless, beautiful, composed of a mixture of colors perfectly interlocked with each other, comfortable and with all the services perfectly working.
Hearty breakfast and full of delicacies. The staff was very welcoming and helpful to support our needs, even in terms of schedule.
NB: There are no indications from the main road, so, due to GPS a bit 'swinging, we had some slight initial difficulty to find the Riad. Once the correct route was identified, however, it was very easy to return after the exits.

1000/10 recommend this lovely Riad
We were greeted by Ismsil at the end of our transport which was provided by our accommodation. Ismail was a very lovely man, with great insight about Marrakesh. He gave us a lot of information, having this been our first time visiting Morocco. He was extremely friendly and helpful, and even gave us his contact and told us to message and call him whenever we needed information or help. We were told we could stay out later and he would always be there to open the door for us and ask us how our night went. Also very helpful in telling us where we could get money out for free. Would highly recommend this Riad for first timers as we were made to feel very comfortable and the people were lovely. Definitely return there on our next visit!
