Special flair

Price-performance ratio is top notch. We had a room on the ground floor. The riad is very nice and furnished in a typical local style. Unfortunately, the bathroom is showing its age and the drain smelled. But if you can make compromises, you're in good hands here. If you ask, you can get a tray put together before breakfast time. Our night was quiet.

Do not stay here.

Absolutely appalling experience. This riad was nothing like what was advertised and was by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed.
The room was filthy from the moment we arrived. There were thick layers of dust throughout the property, hair left on the beds, and the overall standard of cleanliness was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was visible mould in the room and bathroom, creating a damp, unpleasant smell and an environment that felt unhygienic and unhealthy.
The bathroom was leaking, yet instead of taking responsibility and resolving the issue, staff told us to “fix it tomorrow morning” ourselves, despite the fact that we had done nothing to cause the leak. This response perfectly summed up the level of customer service we received throughout our stay.
The staff were rude, dismissive and unhelpful whenever concerns were raised. Rather than trying to improve the situation, they seemed irritated that guests were reporting legitimate problems.
As if the poor cleanliness and lack of professionalism weren’t enough, loud music was played around the property, making it difficult to relax and enjoy any peace and quiet.
This riad is badly maintained, poorly managed and falls far below an acceptable standard for paying guests. The combination of mould, leaks, dirt, dust, hair on the beds, rude staff and constant noise completely ruined our stay. I would strongly advise anyone considering booking here to look elsewhere and avoid the disappointment.

Riad Chennaoui April 2026 / Family 2 Adults 2 Teen

Nice Riad but what a lack of maintenance, the joints that no longer hold, the beams sanded but unpainted, the tiled walls in the bathroom are frankly dirty. For the bedding we would have slept on a board it would not have changed much. Clean once in a week. We were given 3 stained bath towels when we were 4, this is not very convenient. Bed linen also stained in the bed 2 places. The family rooms are on the ground floor and it's very noisy, owner on the speaker phone until 22:00. We had nothing for our arrival, not even the bottle of water noted in the booking. There is no hair dryer in the bathroom, as noted in the ad. There is no TV or dvd player in the common room, we did not need it, but do not note it if it is not true. Breakfast is from 8.30am to 10.30am and not from 7am to 11am as noted on the Last Minute bookings, we reported it and asked once for lunch at 8.15am so that we could have lunch before going on a excursion clearly it did not please Mr and we did not win. So we had lunch in 15min. Last Minute informs that we can have lunch and dinner on site by reservation, which is also false, there is only evening. Well, I suggest you go to another riad if you can. There are some very nice ones around, maybe more expensive but if you want to go to this one you may be disappointed.

Bad experience!

Bad experience, nothing to do with photos!
Absolutely disappointing stay. The pictures on the site show a nice and welcoming riad, but the reality is quite different. The dirty rooms, with dust everywhere and sheets that seemed not to have been changed. The bathroom gave off an unpleasant smell and the cleanliness really left something to be desired.
Never in 5 days of stay has there been a change of linen or at least a cleaning of the room.
Even neglected common areas. The staff was unwilling to resolve the reported problems. Definitely a negative experience, I would not recommend it to anyone!

Good place and economical

It can improve, as my room needed renovation, and other places in the house, but it had many positive points and I would stay there again. It is a nice Riad, at least the patio and the attic, good service, good breakfast, good price and, the best, the location, in a good neighborhood and very close to the center.

Very good location
