Like in a fairy tale castle!
We were there in May 2026 and are very satisfied with the Riad Blue Du Sud, which is located in the old town (Medina) of Marrakech. It really has only a handful of rooms on two floors. A rooftop terrace with loungers for sunbathers is also available. We felt like we were in a fairy tale because it truly looks like one. From the outside, it is unremarkable, and you can only see a blue-framed entrance from the alley. Then you go inside, wonderful, as if you were in another world. You hear nothing from the noise outside, as all the windows face the courtyard. The courtyard is a dream, as the Moroccan breakfast is not from a buffet, but prepared every morning according to the guests in a small kitchen by two staff members. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the gentleman (sorry) who took care of everything for the entire seven days, from the reception with a tea ceremony to the service during the daily breakfast and the suggestions for additional activities. You felt like nobility and not like ordinary guests.
Every morning there were various freshly baked delicacies and pastries, as well as changing tableware. Every day a different colored decoration, so you should definitely include breakfast in your booking. It is delightful when, in the morning calm, the water fountain gently splashes. I recommend this riad for guests who are looking for something special, unique, and of course, an oasis of peace and relaxation here. We found it, here!

Fantastic stay and highly recommended
Beautiful and quiet riad in a perfectly central location. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They made sure we lacked nothing. The extensive and varied breakfast was a feast every morning.

Lovely, convenient, characterful and friendly.
I’ve just returned from a fabulous stay in this gorgeous little Riad. Full of colour and traditional Moroccan character, the perfect setting in the medina, so convenient and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were friendly and helpful, special mention to Asdeen! Breakfast was a selection of local pastries (savoury and sweet) a fruit salad or oats with fruit, fresh juice, Moroccan mint tea and coffee. Very carb heavy, but plentiful and tasty.
Our rooms had everything we needed, including toiletries, a bath robe, safe, and the absolutely essential aircon!
I would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone and will definitely be going back.

Nice but not everything
I was happy to have chosen this riad, beautiful location, and beautiful well decorated structure, excellent typical Moroccan breakfasts even the friendly and helpful staff.
What I did not like was the charge in my credit card of 325 euros while I had booked with Booking for 300 euros. The difference was the exaggerated currency exchange that nowhere in Marrakech do they make it so high. The same applies to the taxi service to Essaouira and the airport. I recommend you pay attention to this.
