For the same price you can find better
Let's start with the positive aspects: the riad is well located, close to the walls of the Bahia palace and is about one km from Jamal el Fna square.
The property has a tiny inner courtyard; you access the upper floors through a staircase of small terracotta bricks. Such tiles in themselves accumulate dust and would need a nice clean as well as one arranged in some moving parts.
On the second floor there is a small terrace, pleasant but not usable in the cold months.
The rooms are narrow and long, as I have already noticed in other riads.
They don’t have that shining look that appears in the photos; the whole thing is a bit dated and could use a general refresh.
In particular, the double bed of the deluxe double room was less than 20 cm from the side walls; on my side there was no support surface (it didn't fit!), forcing me to put my glasses, phone and more on the ground. As already mentioned, sometimes it happens, in riads, but for me it is an inconvenience.
The mattress marked its time with a bit of central sagging (and say I weigh only 60 kg).
I read that breakfast for some was rich and plentiful. I can't find myself. Maybe we were in the low season, but breakfast would only give sufficiency. Add a yoghurt? A fruit? I do not ask for an omelet or a boiled egg instead of the three cheeses in which the salty part consisted.....
In theory, breakfast could be had from 8 to 9.30 a.m.; in our case (we stayed in January) at 8 a.m. the courtyard was still dark and, although we had agreed on a time, the kitchen began to operate from 8.30 a.m.
Leaving before 8 a.m. for excursions, we asked if we could have breakfast to take away; two tiny crepes and a msemen (thin semolina pancake inedible if cold) made us desist from asking for breakfast to take away for other excursions.
In summary: the riad would need a reorganization and some attention in services. My opinion is that for the same price, you can find better.

Super Riad in the heart of Marrakech!!
Ideally located (glued to the Badii Palace, place of Marrakech laughter), 5 minutes walk from Jemaa El-Fna Square, it is located in a small street that ensures total calm.
All the members of the team are taking care of themselves. From Hassan the manager, to Amina in the kitchen, through Mohammed and Zakarian, everything is done to guarantee you a perfect stay: hearty breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, local dinner alternating different tagines and couscous, organization of excursions around Marrakech.
We strongly recommend this address.
