Hospitality and kindness!

We are a family with 2 children and stayed at this Riad from April 15 to 18...... we were in love!!!! the owner Azmine is a very kind person, very helpful and very nice... he made us feel like family, he shows you all the most important things to see, where to eat, how to move, the history of each monument of Marracash and is very nice, Iassine is the guy present at night and he is also very kind, nice and helpful.... the structure is an ancient Moroccan house both in 'furnishing and in the location, in fact it is located inside the Medina in the north, strategic place to reach all the wonders that Marracash offers! the rooms are all equipped with en suite bathroom and shower, each of a different color and shape, clearly forget about luxury...., there is the central courtyard where you have breakfast or have tea, the rooms are on 2 floors and a roof terrace where you can relax on the sun loungers or drink under the gazebo...... breakfast is served inside the courtyard covered and furnished in Moroccan style of 'era, rich in every typical Moroccan dish, sweets, bread, jams, peanut butter... I really recommend it because they make you feel at home!

The room is in the bathroom. Terrible!

We slept on the top floor of the riad in a smelly room! The toilet is directly in the room and having minimal privacy is impossible! There is a strong stench of sewer. There are no windows, so the smell is, and it stays there! The beds are not beds, but sofas covered with a sheet.
It is a Covered Terrace transformed into a bedroom, with precarious glass walls and non-existent roof (so that it seems to sleep directly in the street for noise and the temperature at night drops quickly).
For breakfast we were also served expired yogurt! The list would still be long...
The kindness of the staff is not enough to forget the rest!
I think this was one of the worst experiences of my life! To forget!

Overall solid

Staff always striving with small details.
The two gentlemen who managed the hostel were always nice and had tips for excursions on hand.
They also briefly briefed us about the locals in the alleys and always welcomed us warmly when we returned to the riad.
Unfortunately, there was the same food every morning, only the juice varied - accommodation very noisy.
