I had a lovely short stay in the Riad with my family. With 3 adults and two little children, the bunk beds added lots of excitement !
The owner and staff onsite are incredibly welcoming and kind. The Moroccan breakfast was delicious, generous and so pleasant as we were sat in the quiet patio on a clear and bright day.
The Riad itself is an authentic small riad typical of the Moroccan old towns (Medina) -it’s been kept simple with no sophistication but in very good shape.
It’s not very difficult to access just trust Google Maps or contact the owner for the live location share.
As it’s in the heart of the old town there are several dining options nearby.

No conviviality, very pingre.

When you read the intro, a lot of falsity.
First thing I asked myself when I arrived is this surprise tax, 188 dirham for 7 nights. I give 200, the gentleman who receives me gives me 1 dirham. Too uncomfortable to object to me, I'm giving up. 10:00 a.m. plus no one, the gentleman is gone and the owner is lying down, and all the lights off. Donations 24/24 false. I paid for my last night since my departure was at 1:00 am on Sunday night. No one stayed at the reception, and all lights off. I had to insist on the landlord leaving a light on at the front desk, it's total black. She refused. It was by calling Mr. Alawi that I was able to get a light, provided I turned off the one in the hallway.
There's a very crazy attitude, sorry.
Same for lunch included. Lots of dishes, small dishes, pieces of dry bread, a small pancake, and dry Moroccan crepe msemen, not tender at all, and for small round pancakes (10 cm in diameter, 2 mm thick) does not ask for a second one, I was told no. Same for tea (4 oz).
A/C is crossed at 27° c. It does not go fresher!!
The large room of the riad is very beautiful, Mr. Alawi paints the walls during the day for a perfect appearance, but the atmosphere is soulless, the owner does not speak to anyone except a timid morning hello, period.
Beautiful container, very little content.
I left alone, with my 3 bags to join my transport to the blue door, without any goodbye. They took away my taste of never going back to Morocco.

Centraĺy located in the back street in the middle of the medina. Very quiet for a good night sleep with plenty of space. Spacious bathroom. Good breakfast to start the day.

Was warmly greeted by Hosts, Room was 1st floor (up stairs). Everything worked fine. Has roof balcony and relaxing area in main area of Riad. Turtles to add an animal touch. Riad can take bit of searching to find (its about 500m from Blue Gate on left turn from bazaar. Ask shopkeepers for help. Very close to restaurants and the Tannery is walking distance further down the street. Underground parking for your car is opposite the Blue Gate.

I didn't like my stay at Chrifis in the least. Here's why.
1.I arrived and no one was on site, it took a while to get a hold of anyone. Riad staff took about 45 minutes to arrive on site. All the while I waited in the dark because the entrance is in a pitch black( even in daylight) alley.
2. The riad is deep in the medina so plan on walking a while to get to it. If you have a car, you'll need to leave your car outside the medina. This wouldn't have been so bad if it had been mentioned in the description.
3. The room's heater didn't function well.
4. The rooms's lock fell apart in my hands.
5. The room is drafty because the door was ill-fitting.
I ended up leaving and booking a room at the Ramada for less than the Riad costs and that hotel was posh.
