Riad Arabesque: An oasis of calm and authenticity in Fez - Thank you, Said!
The riad is a true oasis: authentic, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The calm and tranquility that reign in the place are exceptional; one immediately feels at peace and rested. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and truly invite relaxation.
The breakfast is excellent, varied, and of high quality. For dinner, it was a delight: an assortment of fresh Moroccan salads, a daily lamb tagine with peas and tender artichokes, and for dessert, a delicious milk pastilla. A flavorful homemade cuisine.
I would like to especially thank Said, the maître d’hôtel, for his kindness, availability, and professionalism. He ensures that everything goes perfectly, and his warm welcome makes the stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for everything, Said.
An exceptional address in Fes that I recommend without hesitation.

Restaurant within the Medina
This is located within the Medina in Fez. We were a large group and had opted for dinner on the verandah. It was a bit cramped. Lovely views of the city from the restaurant. The food was good - typical Moroccan. However, the service could have been far better. Some of the waiters wouldn't even respond properly.
We were served some wine/beer/juice before dinner.

Unpleasant surprise
The room was not redone with an unconvincing excuse, and both for lunch and dinner there was always only one waiter: very long waiting times and, invariably, something was always missing.
The most “memorable” moment, however, was the check-out: we were charged the cappuccinos of the two mornings of breakfast, without anyone having ever informed us that they were not included... at the modest price of 5 euros each.
A shame, because the potential would be there, but the organization of the service definitely needs to be reviewed.
