Great modern place to stay in Fez

This riad (traditional Moroccan house with central courtyard) was arguably the best place for us to stay during a 2-week trip to Morocco. The rooms are spatious, with all modern amenities, room for luggage and nice service. The breakfast was excellent, the room quiet. The owner is a very nice French lady with whom we had some nice chats. The riad is situated next to one of the main shopping streets and is very well maintained. It was a memorable stay.

I wouldn't like to go back

The property is in an excellent location: on the edge of the medina, not far from a car park. It’s convenient for walking to all the sights. The staff were happy to help with parking and directions to the riad. The rooms are well-equipped, though there are some minor issues with soundproofing. Breakfast is typical Moroccan fare. There was a very unpleasant incident on check-in, which affected the final rating: after a long journey from Merzouga, over a cup of tea, we were told that as Agoda had not settled its accounts with the property for some time, we would have to sort out the debt repayment ourselves and the riad did not consider our stay to be paid for, despite the fact that we had all the necessary documents. In the end, we offered to pay for our stay at the price agreed in the confirmation. However, they initially demanded a sum 20% higher than the agreed amount. To Agoda’s credit, the refund was processed that very evening, calls were made by Agoda's stuff to the property, and the rest of our stay was comfortable. Overall, it is baffling that the property’s representative would shift the burden of their business problems onto the guests. Had I been aware of such potential issues, I would simply have chosen a different place to stay
All in all, thanks to the exchange rate difference, I actually paid less, but one member of staff managed to spoil the mood on the eve of my wife’s birthday

An enchanting riad

This riad is a place where one feels like in a bubble, in a parenthesis.
Hicham and the staff are very professional, attentive to your desires, always answering your questions, always at your disposal. The cuisine offered is excellent, hearty, and varied but typical of Morocco.
Hicham offered us an exceptional guide for the visit of the Medina of Fes. Saïd was able to convey his love for his city, his passion for the Medina and its labyrinths. He told us the history of Fes and Morocco.

This was the perfect Riad for our stay in Fez. The owner and staff were so friendly and always helpful. Great breakfast, uniquely enjoyable dinner all came together to make this hotel the highlight of our stays in Morocco. Easy access from the airport and train station and a very short walk to the heart of the Medina and the Blue Gate. Can’t say enough about this hotel. Highly recommended!!

Location was central. Room were clean, comfortable and had amenities. Riad was beautiful. Breakfast was abundant. Parking is 5 min away for 40MAD for 24h. Close to the blue gate. Wifi was down while we were guests but otherwise, stay was comfortable. Front desk staff was very responsive and friendly. I would love to stay here again.
