Lovely stay in the heart of the medina
The riad was beautiful, exactly like the pictures, and the location was great, right in the middle of the medina. Very comfortable room, warm shower, hair dryer, and amazing breakfast. We were welcomed with a lovely mint tea, and Mounir and his dad were very kind and helpful with local recommendations. I’d definitely stay there again.

Exceptional service and hospitality
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Dar Hafsa on our first trip to Fes and in Morocco. We were greeted with mint tea and a warm welcome from the owner Abdul Karim, who picked us up from the taxi that had been arranged. He walked us to the hotel and made us feel very safe.
The interior is charming and beautifully decorated. Our room had a large bed, wall mounted heater/ac, and a large bathroom with a walk in shower. The light fixtures and stained glass windows were uniquely tasteful. Comfortable sheets and comforter made sleeping enjoyable.
We were very satisfied with the breakfast. It included coffee, juice, eggs, yogurt, jams, and several types of breads and Moroccan pancakes.
Where Dar Hafsa shines brightest is its service. Abdul Karim gave us several practical tips for local exploring including walking us to a fantastic nearby restaurant. He arranged taxi service, transfers, and even laundry. He and his staff are extremely kind and provided some of the best and most welcoming hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Their care for their guests is obvious. I strongly recommend!

Best service ever!
Karim and family were very hospitable. Not only is their home beautiful and the rooms perfectly comfortable but the breakfast was excellent. Karim took us to a local leather shop where I got a jacket custom made by the end of the same day!!! For $70!!!!!! Amazing. Higher quality than the jackets at the tanneries for a quarter of the price. He also recommended places to eat that were delicious. The hospitality and service here was above and beyond. Stay here.

Fabulous authentic accommodation in the medina
Dar Hafsa is a beautifully restored family home and immaculate . After a warm welcome by gorgeous Mounir with his adorable Netflix accent we had help to plan a couple of days activities. The fabulous tiled rooms are extremely comfortable and tasteful and the bathrooms a joy! They have excellent wifi and even though the building is in the heart of the medina the nights were silent! There is a wall heater for chilly evenings and plenty of electric sockets .
Breakfast is an array of home cooked delights and simply delicious.
Mounir suggested a local restaurant for dinner with a helpful guide there and back which was a brilliant idea because the dinner was amazing!
As Dar Hafsa is fantastic value for money you won’t find a better or more authentic place to stay in the old city of Fes.

202511 - Hosting in Fez in Morocco
We had great expectations to stay in a riad, and what we chose was really pretty. The room, although small and cold, was perfectly comfortable thanks to the air conditioning, which worked very well. Breakfast was excellent — rich, tasty and individually served.
The highlight of the stay, however, was the attention of Mounir and the other gentleman who unfortunately did not take the name: impeccable. All we have to do is thank you for your attention and kindness. Thank you very much!
As a suggestion for improvement, the room we stayed in could count on a blackout.
