Magical

Wonderful stay at the Antek hotel in the sublime city of Chefchaouen. Our host Mohamed was excellent, always available with great care to meet our requests. Thank you very much, Mohamed, for your kindness. Go to this Riad where you will enchantingly get lost in the blue alleys!!!

Comfort, friendly, super clean

Excellent service, very welcoming. Comfortable, close to everything, I will definitely choose it again on my next visit. By the way, if you’re fond of photography, it has a thousand places... even toproof for tea at dawn or dusk

Read well before booking

We went with a group of friends to xauen for a few days, and we had to go to this hotel, as there were several of us and we could not all fit in the same.
The selected hotels were:
ALIA RIYADH
- CASA MIGUEL
- KOUTOBIA
ANTEK
Technically the four of similar category, and cost us more or less the same, but the Antek was the worst, but with an abysmal difference.
We arrived last because we were having dinner and when we arrived, our room was a "Duplex" where you could not stand, downstairs or even upstairs. Downstairs, there was a living room with a TV and a huge piece of sofa but not inviting to sit down. The bathroom consists of a shower, in which you can also not stand up, and empty, all in the same space (without sink), which implies that if you shower, then you have to enter the bathroom rolled up pants to not get squirting.
At the top was the bed, two mattresses of 90 lying on the floor, where you have to enter cats, and with another sofa that in theory was white (read between the lines).
The sheets were yellow, I'm not saying they were dirty, but old almost transparent from so many washes, the curtains, the carpet, everything textile was scary to touch...
We saw other friends' rooms and they were completely up to ours (not xD ceilings) but really, completely horrible.
Breakfast and staff great but there are things easy to improve and they should work.
IT IS NOT A PLACE FOR FAMILIES, OLDER PEOPLE OR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS.
Of course, I also do not recommend it if you go alone. It's not a comfortable place.

Loved it!

This was perfect for my stay in Chefchaouen. It was a budget-friendly alternative, with the perfect location for me and very friendly service.
It’s absolutely not a good option for anyone with mobility issues, or anyone who wants a large room and lots of space. But if you don’t mind the steps and quirkiness of the place, then you will enjoy it.
For me, it was great that it wasn’t right in the main square, but a short walk from it. It was on a street with all sorts of shops and the location made it easy to explore the whole town in all directions.
The room I got was the perfect size for one person without a lot of luggage, and even though the bed required a little bit of a climb, it was fun and cozy.
Everything worked perfectly, hot water, internet, communication with the staff, and the breakfast was really delicious. It was made for me on the spot on the rooftop terrace.
It gets chilly in winter, as it’s a town in the mountains, but the AC/heater works and there are great fluffy blankets to keep warm.
The room even had a fridge, a TV and a nice sitting area, so it would have worked perfectly even for a longer stay.
I really enjoyed my stay and I’m glad I booked. Will definitely visit again in the future!
