A very charming Riad in the center of the Medina, everything is close, the rooms are comfortable , the staff very friendly
All very clean which is one thing to value and beyond.
I'm thinking of another trip there and I'm sure I'll repeat in the riad

Lovely town, (too) Rustic Riad

The Riad is located in a small lane in the main street of the medina. Our room in the ground floor was small and a bit too 'rustic'. The room (front) door & the bathroom door latches are badly in need of repair...they don't close properly & if we force them close, opening them is difficult. The room seemed quite humid. The Riad's main door is closed/locked & therefore guests are provided with 2 keys, one for the main door & other for the room, to enable them come in anytime on their own.
The Bathroom was quite big with a bidet available. Breakfast was quite sparse with bread & crepe.
The staff (especially Omaima) were very helpful.
We spent one night in this Riad in the lovely town of Asilah.

Don’t bother!

The location is inside the madina but the comfort of the Riad is less than basic. No welcoming customers with mint tea which we received in all the other Riads we stayed at. Didn’t bother checking us in. No staff was available at anytime of the day.
The breakfast consisted of stale bread warmed up in the microwave and the butter was off.
It’s cheap for a reason!

Price

They charged us days after arriving more than they put on the bill and told us everything was fine. The staff was at times. We needed a taxi both days and the room service had to call. The place is not bad but I do not recommend it.

Staying in Assilah

I spent two nights in Riad Assilah and immediately felt at home. The Owner is very kind and very helpful to provide information and guidance on the town, culture and also about several requests that I submitted. The Riad is clean and well-kept and the breakfast, excellent, is served on the terrace of the Riad. The Riad is located in the charming Medina so it is easy to discover it from there and also reach the beach. I thank Asraf, the Owner, for his hospitality, attention, professionalism and kindness. I hope to return in a future trip.
