Another stop on my world tour by Hard Rock Cafe locations

I booked a pick up at the airport thru them. He was waiting outside the building. Cost was 12E. Taxi at airport was 20E. Room was a bit small but OK. Room has Phone, TV, fridge and it was full of liquor, beer, water and pop!!! A good night quiet sleep. Break was the normal European stuff. Did a tour thru them to a Monastery and then he dropped me off at the Hard Rock Cafe!!!! All was good.

The hotel is next to the train station. The rooms are very spacious, and the breakfast is plentiful.

All was good

We stayed here for 1 night at the start of our 2 week trip and again at the end. Both times we found the hotel staff excellent, the rooms very good, cleanliness very good, and location for the airport good. We were both very happy and thought it was very good value. We had a good look around Podgorica which felt safe and there were many good restaurants dotted around. The taxi/shuttle to and from the airport was 12 euros. Just let the hotel staff know in advance and they will arrange it for you. Whilst the train station is very close to the hotel, it is not very close to the airport, so if you are thinking of saving money by getting the train to and from the airport I think this is possible but unwise. About a 15-20 min walk and terrain not great for wheeling suitcases.

Small, nice hotel in Podgorica

The hotel is located directly at the train/bus station. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to get to the city center or the sights of the city.
Despite proximity to train station (barely any train traffic) and bus station it was very quiet at night.
My room was functional and very clean.
The bathroom was also very clean, but the shower cabin would need a floor overhaul. A sliding door from the closet was broken, otherwise everything was ok.
The breakfast was very good with a rich selection of cold cuts.
The hotel staff was very friendly.
All in all, the hotel (despite the above shortcomings) is worth the money.
